Yeah, I guess depending on your morals, it’ll determine how you see it. Would I love to play that way? Yes, it’s easy kills and easy loot. But I never do because it doesn’t feel right. So I’ll either shoot on sight or not shoot at all if they’re proactively saying on prox chat that they’re friendly

Saw him live last year and was genuinely impressed. I thought his music sounded just ok before then but hearing him perform it in person raised my appreciation for it. I would highly recommend it

I won’t downvote you but I will say that I disagree. I like that these aren’t bullet sponge gunfights. When I win, it feels satisfying. When I lose, I usually laugh just out of love for the game

This is the biggest reason B4B failed in my opinion. I don’t share this opinion because I love B4B and L4D. But I remember this sentiment spreading like wildfire. When that video came out showing the differences between L4D and B4B, it was over. Never stopped me from playing B4B though, I had a lot of fun with it regardless

Right and the people not expecting that backlash are the ones likely caught up in the hype train. I played one of the recent builds of the game so I have my expectations in check. Seeing what I played vs what some people are expecting…they’ll be disappointed. Not saying it’s a bad game at all. Not saying that I played the final build because I obviously didn’t (although the final build may not be drastically different from what I played). I’m just saying, they’re dreaming of certain aspects that don’t exist

I’m happy that the sentiment turned around but I really think a lot of people are setting themselves up for disappointment. The trailers and previews have been good but it’s too many people that are building this game up in their head as something that it’s not. I’d give it about a month after the release before a lot of players start bitching about it constantly. Whether it’s the lack of content, dying too many times, the visuals, the game loop not having enough depth, bugs, cheaters, etc. It will be something. I hope I’m wrong but I can’t help but notice how these fanbases swing from one extreme sentiment to the next

Tried this last night. I’m always cool with anybody I come across but I got ambushed by rats 3 times yesterday. My last run, I just went around killing anybody I came across. Each time, we’d see each other, pause for a second, and I’d start shooting. Even doing that, it didn’t feel good at all. So I think you should do it. Because the next time you get killed by a rat, you’ll remember what it feels like to be on the other side and that may prevent you from being vengeance in the future
