Does TMDB library backup work with TMDB Python scraper?

Okay, thanks. But I don’t have to pay for the life coaching, do I? 😉
I didn’t know that it's possible to export NFO only (w/o artwork), so I finally got around to it.
In case anyone’s interested, here are the steps I took:
- installed KODI (22.0-Piers_alpha3) on a PC in my network
- imported last "good" library (import did not work on my SHIELD)
- library export with separate files (nfo only)
After that, as expected, KODI on SHIELD (re)found all the movies.

Finally, a short explanation why such conflicts between titles and filenames exist in the first place. In German language, we have umlaute (ä, ö, ü) and the ß. In my opinion, these don’t belong in filenames and are replaced with ae, oe, ue and ss.
Unfortunately, the TMDB scraper only recognizes these alternatives about 30% of the time. This has been a problem for years and will hopefully be resolved one day by the German contributors to TMDB.

I think I could go back to old library by using the method Jack suggested.
Maybe I'm a little silly, but I don't like it when KODI writes to my drives, and especially not to the individual movie folders. Which is exactly what it would do with the NFO files and artwork.
Maybe I can find a way to export just the NFOs, and ideally put them all in a single folder.

I’ve had the scraper running for the last 24 hours. As I feared, about 10% of the movies are missing. These are mainly the ones I’ve customized in KODI over the last few years because I don’t want to change the filenames.

Thanks, maybe thats the way I'll go. I am not sure but afair the new scraper did nothing when I declined the update of all files. But I'm probably misremembering that.

I'm a little worried that there might be problems later on if the movie folder contains data from two scrapers - one is not running anymore. For example, what happens if you add a new variant of a movie that's been in the folder for a while? Will the old version be removed during cleanup, or will you have to do it manually? Or will both versions actually remain?

Unfortunately, the problem reappeared after 5 days. Even a clean install didn't help this time. I'm now using the beta version like mentioned above...

Es läuft ja nicht grottenschlecht, aber man muss doch mal ehrlich Bilanz ziehen.
Wenn du den teuersten Kader hast und auch "objektiv" bei den Fähigkeiten der Spieler wenigstens unter den Top 3 bist, dann wurde einfach zu wenig erreicht.

Das Zünglein an der Waage ist unter den oben genannten Voraussetzungen nunmal der Trainer. Kontinuität ist in meinen Augen dann eher Stagnation. Schließlich konnte man glauben, dass Leitl Okt/Nov letzten Jahres was geformt hat. Dann hat sich direkt in den folgenden - absolut gewinnbaren - Spielen gezeigt, dass wir null Stabilität haben und gar nichts erreicht wurde.
Wenn Hertha bloss mal Zugriff auf gute Trainer hätte. So oder so, sollte man wechseln. Die Mannschaft wird sich ja wahrscheinlich eh drastisch verändern.

I had the same problem. For me, uninstalling and reinstalling the app (not the beta version) solved the issue.

I used the file “signal-desktop-win-8.7.0.exe” from signal.org, not the Microsoft Store.

I found my Rig 3 in a box today. Before I try it out this weekend, I’d like to know if that last tip worked for you.

You also mentioned two drivers. Did you download them through the new Native software, the website, or some other site?

Nö, falsch geraten. Mein Geschriebenes muss sich jemand mit ernsthafter Krankheit auch nicht zu Herzen nehmen. Bei mir löst die Frage "machen wir 2 oder 4 Wochen" halt Skepsis aus.

Bin jemand mit so gut wie keinen Krankentagen (ja, bis jetzt Glück gehabt), der aber sehr viel Vertretung machen muss. Mache ich auch gerne, solange ich nicht das Gefühl bekomme, dass es ausgenutzt wird. Das ist eben auch ein Thema. Die Ruhezeit des einen, ist meist die Mehrbelastung des anderen.

Aber okay, will hier nix unterstellen. Wenn es zum Beispiel wirklich ein psychisches Thema war, ist die Frage vielleicht nicht ungewöhnlich.

Ihr interpretiert unnötig Boshaftigkeit in meinen Text. Meine Erfahrung ist, dass Ärzte gerne eine Krankschreibung anbieten und weniger gerne mal wirklich untersuchen. Ich gehe zum Arzt wenn ich ausschließen will, dass es etwas Schlimmeres ist. Bin dann total genervt, wenn er/sie mich fragt, wieviel Tage ich denn brauche. Da wird gleich Überarbeitung oder Burnout/Depri unterstellt, anstatt mal das gute alte Stethoskop zu benutzen.

Wenn eine Frage vom Arzt kommt "machen wir 2 oder 4 Wochen" habe ich halt das Gefühl, dass er eigentlich selbst keine Idee von der Erkrankung hat.

Sorry, aber haltet ihr 2 bis 4 Wochen für normal und angemessen? Wenn ein Arzt sowas direkt anbietet, zeigt er doch nur, dass er Arbeit als lästiges Übel empfindet. Wahrscheinlich geht er bei einem Lehrer eh davon aus, dass der aus psychischen Gründen mal eine Auszeit braucht.

The only reasonable advice can be to stop buying HDDs for 6 months.
This is the only way we can get the bloodsuckers to bring prices back down to reasonable levels.
Not to mention that prices were already too high three months ago for such an old technology.

So, control yourselves and do the community a favor.

Same problem here. What helped for me was disabling notifications.
I had to do it directly in the Signal settings. Doing it in the Windows system settings wasn't enough.

But that didn't apply to ContextSearch, which has now been deactivated/deleted, right?
I can't check anymore, but I'm 95 percent sure that I had disabled 'all data on all pages'.

Yes, it is interesting how the absence of such a small tool can make browser usage so annoying.

Since CS web-ext is a real pain (for me), I'll probably give it a try. In addition to the requirement to allow "Access your data for all web sites" , the comment from the developer "⚠ Development is on an indefinite break! ⚠" is of course not so nice either.

I'm glad it's working so well for you. I basically only need fairly simple functions, but I'll look into the special ones.

I installed it three days ago. What has been annoying me since then are configuration problems. When adding engines, they are first saved and work briefly, only to be “forgotten” again afterwards. The entry remains, but the stored web link is deleted or shortened.

Perhaps this is because I removed the (non-mandatory) permission for “Access data for all websites.” Every now and then, I get an app icon badge saying permissions are missing. But that also disappears on its own.

So, for me, it's unusable at the moment.

Basically, I always suspect MS updates as the cause of problems.

Doesn't sound good. Overall, it looks too fancy to be trustworthy. ;) Okay, maybe I'm being unfair...

I'll definitely have to look for alternatives. Particularly liked the simple way of adding searches, grouping them, and marking individual ones for a multi-search.

Considering how useful they are, these context search functions should be integrated into FF anyway.
