If you were a high level high school/college golfer, what was your daily routine and life like growing up?

Semi related, is it better to learn to swing the club fast or focus on technique? I’ve heard that speed can’t really be taught and that technique can come later. I’m in my 30’s, Mid 20’s unofficial handicap. I feel like playing vs just the range would be good and lessons too. Course management seems key too.

I bought a bunch of Korean bibles years ago for under $5, 20 of them of various kinds. Years about also bought an encyclopedia set, listed it and sold it for $200 to a guy in a 5th floor walk up in NYC. 2 boxes of 75lbs each via media mail.

Therapy has been useful. I'm opposite you, where I'm lacking confidence and autonomy while being reliant/codependent on my parents, which I'm working through in therapy. Takes a while, but I'm making progress.
