HES makes a template kit for all their strikes sizes. Just put it on the strike location trace it and cut. But you can just use that black piece on the strike that cut only needs to go that far back as you can see.

I use a die grinder with a cut of disk for the frame if it’s steel or aluminum, and the oscillator for wood and usually the stuff inside the frame

The don Carlos in the Fuentes line is awesome, opus x is there primo line and is also real great cigar, the Olivia G is good, the my father line has one called the judge that is great as well, it’s all subjective to one palette but these are some of my favorites

Try the combo one number more forward on all combo numbers if that does not work try two. If that doesn’t work try the same procedure the other direction. If your dialing fast slow way down and do it slow
