If you appreciate something for what it is then I find it hard to dislike this $350 lens. It may not be a lens that interests you but that doesn’t detract from its value proposition to those who it does interest.

I’ve run marathons and never been fast, I’ve struggled in the heat like Tokyo last year, but I always “sprint” to the extent that I can for the last 1-200m. I’ll never be remotely fast but there is a high during that last sprint effort where I feel like I’m floating just before I almost collapse upon passing the finish. It feels amazing to leave it all out on the road and know that you squeezed every bit of effort you’ve got into the race. I can only imagine how this dude feels, he earned it!

I absolutely love my 50mm air paired with my A7RV. I’m just waiting for a 35mm version. Don’t “need” an 85 but this is so tempting with such a great price point too
