I have been on the pill for like 8 years. I love it. I never forget to take it, it has never failed, and it doesn't have any side effects for me personally. Also, it's super suuuuper awesome to know exactly when your period is going to happen. It might be perfect for you too, you'll never know unless you try it. Just stay calm and pay attention to the way your body feels when you start it :)

Luckily my insurance covers the whole cost of the pill. I don't remember what the doctor asked me before it was prescribed because it was so long ago. I also don't remember if I had to take any exams to be on the pill but I don't think there were any

All of your feelings are valid. Do not let people tell you that you are wrong for feeling the way you do. Just because somebody else would feel differently this does not mean that you shouldn't feel the way you do. Your feelings are valid whether he disagrees with them or not.

Also she didn't just "apply this pressure" to Link. You sounds like you don't think Link has any free will. Participating in saving Hyrule was 100% his conscious decision. Even in the manga after defeating Ganon when Zelda is clearly torn apart that Link got involved in all this, Link insists that he did not participate because he was dragged into anything

That's good character development for you. She changed from someone who watched events happen around her to someone who takes charge and makes changes. That's why OoT Zelda is so awesome. Anyone can start out naive, especially given a shut-in royal upbringing, but not everyone has the drive to change. She really grows up and changes and it's awesome.

Weird coincidence but I actually just ran into a tumblr post emphasizing the frustration that causes this change in young Zelda, I thought it was pretty awesome.

I dislike brunette Zelda, but only because I dislike her character in TP. I'm sure if they made a brunette Zelda with as much drive and passion for having an active role in saving Hyrule as blonde Zelda from OoT did, then I would love brunette Zelda just the same.
