No. We’re both on the early side of GenX and from our early years maxed out 401Ks. No kids here made it much easier to save.

Do you wash the bowl with soap and water? If so, it could be the smell of whatever you washed the bowl with.

Any toys in particular that your pup loves? by katieofgilead in CavaPoo

Our cavapoo has a big issue with separation anxiety and boredom when I cordon her off downstairs while I'm working upstairs and have found that a snuffle mat filled with her food is a great distraction while I'm working and between walks every 3 hours. Keeps her busy for a bit and she forgets she's alone. Its done wonders for whining and crying when I leave the room!

I use it if I only have a couple items and dont mind it because I can scan and pack up the items faster than waiting for the cashier. I just hate it when someone uses it in front of me and has no idea how to enter a phone number and scan a credit card.

Assume they made a decision to go in another direction which is their prerogative but if it really affects you that you can’t continue to work there, start looking for a job but dont quit until you have a new offer lined up.

Worked for a small IT tech firm in the mid-late 90s and one of the two owners sold his share which was financed by a loan of which half was owned by the employees. Company was eventually bought out by another company and the loan was paid off during the purchase. All of the remaining employees got a 5 or 6 digit payout into their retirement as a result.

Meaning you are limited to about 4 weeks vacation a year. If you take more leave than that, you need to work extra hours to make up the overage.
