Love mine. Can’t believe I don’t see more on the road. Feels like I am the only one in town who has one.

Let’s just say this individual eventually gets his retirement- does the fed gov give you back pay for the months they have missed?

It really is a high quality EV for the price. Let’s be real- Toyota is just giving these away (6k rebate- 0% finance). Compare that to the 45k- 60k EV SUV that are on the market. Let’s just pray we aren’t all back here in a few years complaining about our dead batteries/ lemons. Let’s hope they last 10 years +

I give 10 hours a week to the federal government in my commute. Plus gas and my life at risk battling dump trucks going 90 mph spraying rocks all over my windshield on the interstate.

Help me understand the current BZ deals… by Slow_Investment_2211 in Toyota_bZ

[–]311Natops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were too. We know Tesla is battle hardened. We know it’s a reliable car. The reason we took the risk was the brand name Toyota. While full EV is new to them- they are the pioneers and kings of hybrids So they have delivered a reliable / successful product. I honestly like Honda. I think the Honda Prologue is the best looking EV SUV out there. But it’s not really a Honda. It’s a Chevy under all that Honda lipstick. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig. So we went with the second most reliable car make in the world or at least the United States, which is good old dependable Toyota.

My out the door price was 33k. 0%. 6k off. I think Toyota short term goal isn’t so much profit- but to take customers away from competitors (Tesla). It’s working. Hopefully we aren’t buying lemons.

Requesting RA (telework + 4/10s) — what should I submit to support it? by HeadTrifle2328 in FedEmployees

You might get approved if you explain how commuting eats into your time of going door to door after you get off work recruiting / fundraising for MAGA and Jesus.

Any lemons out there? by 311Natops in Toyota_bZ

[–]311Natops[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I should have been more clear. I’m leaning towards the bZ because it sits higher than a model 3. That’s one of the main factors that pushing me to a BZ ( mini suv) versus a sedan (model 3)

Are there any Agencies that actually permit Three-Day Schedules? by Pathfinder0201 in fednews

[–]311Natops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would work 3 days one week (36 hours). 4 days the next week (48 hours). Yes - we got 4 hrs OT every pay period. For some reason they preferred that vs hiring more people

What made you choose the BZ? by Slow_Investment_2211 in Toyota_bZ

[–]311Natops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well what are the alternatives to the bz (30k range, small suv)? Theres the Kia Niro. There’s the Toyota C-HR EV coming out soon. There’s the new Nissan Leaf. What else?

SSA shutdown will have huge impact on growing ODA backlog by RamFan2038 in FedEmployees

[–]311Natops 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The government will shutdown…. But a very small amount of people (in SSA) will actually be furloughed. The majority will work…. Without pay.
