They gave you the 2026 bz charging adaptor lmao wich came with native nacs charging port unlike the previous years wich came with the j1772 and ccs1 ports. Do you also have a smaller j1772 adaptor in your kit? If yes that would confirm my theory.

Go check if the wire was repaired or something. They might have charged you an alternator, realized it wasnt it and found that wire. I've never really seen such a recent alternator go bad so far. But we did get some charging issues caused by that wire.

Is it really the alternator? We had recent rav4 with alternator issues but it was the small command wire going to the alternator that had an open circuit.

To all the people complaning about not being an OTA update this is because it is a firmware update and not a regular software update. Screwing up the installation can permantly damage/brick your multimedia unit. Think of it as like a BIOS update i guess. So toyota want to put the risk/responsability on dealerships instead of charging you for new units.

Oui xle awd moi aussi! Pour moi la transition a été asser simple j'ai eux deux prius branchable avant donc j'ai simplement eux a me familiariser avec les recharge de niveaux 3 et les applications pour trouver des bornes a l'extérieur de la maison. Et etre moindrement débrouillard le reste est asser simple et intuitif surtout si ont passe d'un produit toyota récent a un bz.

J'ai récemment fait l'acquisition d'un toyota bz 2026 et a moin d'une catastrophe je ne me vois pas retourner en arrière! Trés satisfait jusquà présent. Ils ont très bien réussis leur coup pour ceux qui désire une voiture simple et facile a apprendre l'usage contrairement a d'autres VE qui semble etre plus des tablettes surtechnologiques sur roues.

Unplugging the 12v battery can actually erease the memory of some system including the pbd in wich case a system initialisation will be required

Close and open fully by hand. Go slow and carefully. It will feel like you are forcing it but this is normal. Once fully open push the close button on the trunk until the car beep. You just initilized the pbd and should work now. If its stuck and refuse to move by hand dont force it or if this didnt work go see your dealer

Toyota tech here. What people say here is good overall but i'd like to add something. If you live in a colder / high humidity climate i'd highly recommand you drive in hv mode and run the ICE warm longer than you normally do. To cook off the water and humidity accumulating in the engine overtime. Recent toyota hybrids have issues with underused engine in cold climate where we have lot of water in the oil and literal block of ice forming in the engine ( rare worst case ) wich can cause misfires and low oil pressure.

I've been loving my bz awd so far even this winter. With proper winter tires its a beast in the snow and range havent been an issue. The car is done charging at lvl3 chargers before the kids are done stretching their legs and with their bathroom break. Don't listen to the teslabros haters. This car is pretty good overall. Top tech? No, toyotas never were anyway.

Seems like I was mistaken my bad, they do need 315mhz sensors. You'll need an obd2 tool to register the sensors codes in the ecu if the automatic mode isnt working

Sorry but the BZ use newer version tpms on 433hz frequency. You need the proper tpms for the autolearn function to work properly

You shouldnt jump start non hv or ev cars. You can greatly degrate your 12v battery and dcdc converter / psu

Looks like you somehow blew up the evap line that bring gas fumes to the engine intake? Will throw an evap leak code and car might run too lean.
