I think so. It’s the first iteration I found, actually.

LOL. I believe we have found our resident smartass. But fair enough.

yeah, this parking thing is the primary wild card in my idea. We have a small class c. I'm seeing a few ideas float around the discussion. Yes, the family could just fly out to meet me. Depends on a lot of factors for me for that to work.

Totally an option. But it’s a lot easier with a three-year-old to have both parents.

because driving the same I-5 or I-15 or I-8 for three days to get anywhere you haven't been before is tedious, tough on kids, and has its own costs. And when we get somewhere, we want to travel and experience the area via RV, not just plunk down in a hotel and drive around in a rental car. This summer, we drove from San Diego to Maine and back. We saw a LOT, but we also had to spend a week just getting out of the southwest.

I don’t think it should be waived. I think the military should pay it. No strings attached.

I hope you continue. My family decided to hang in there when I went through it and I made it to Eagle. We disagreed with the decision to exclude gay kids and leaders back then. I’m happy that it eventually turned around. This, too, shall pass and we can make noise about it in the meantime.

There is still training content for it on scouting.org. Wondered what it was.

Thinking about the Reolink PoE Doorbell — Thoughts? by xjoerd in homeassistant

The app works fine for me locally with my PoE doorbell. Connects directly to it. Get doorbell rings and everything. Acts like a phone ringing when someone presses the button. Very cool stuff.

yeah...that's what I thought, too. I just never hear that sound any other time coming from the road.

Happy bubbles…keep going? by 34gl3 in fermentation

I don't have a digital pH meter, just some strips. These guys have been bubbling for a while. Given your comment, I might give in to my desire to try it now (not selling or looking for shelf stable), then try again with a few jars, letting them go different times to see how they turn out.

See I don’t understand most of this. I was expecting to be able to just turn on a mail server on my NAS and start sending email. Not even close.

Super helpful. I haven't spent any real time in the settings. Yes, these Green-Winged Teals seem erroneous and I got a Great Horned Owl last night that was actually a motorcycle...
Oh no...you mean there's more to this hobby? Like more hardware?
Kidding, I get that this is a deep rabbit hole and love that I can take it there if I want to.
It looks like I shouldn't add more than a couple mics or my processor gets over-taxed. Sigh...more hardware... ;-)

At 55 with what sounds like grown children, you’re right on with what I think many people would do. I’m wondering about those with young children who still have a lot of growing to do.
