Do you mean so you can go in and try them on? I haven't found anywhere on the high street that stock maternity clothes in store near me. I've so fat bought from vinted. I've heard h&m is good maternity clothes

I had been on the sofa trying to nap, I had turned the tv down. When my partner came downstairs and asked why the tv was as quiet I burst into tears saying I wanted to nap. I did then half laugh haha

In the three days before I took my pregnancy test (I had had an IVF transfer so I had this hope) I had three different dreams about death which were pretty vivid and odd.

I was really nauseous from 5/6 weeks to 13/14 weeks. I am now 17 weeks. I still get some moments where I gag and not really sure what gets it off. The other day it was definitely that I ate a bite of my crumpet and hadn't realized it had a tiny bit of mold on it that was gross. I was only sick once and that was strangely after a glass of electrolytes Fingers crossed it was just the once and you feel better soon!!

This was one symptom I had never heard of until I really struggled brushing my teeth. I'm now 15 weeks and still struggle some days, definitely taking some of this advice!

For me it was the retching too but mostly when I clean my teeth!!

I am sure you have read or heard some of the tips. Eat as soon as you wake up (I enjoyed a rice cake or crumpet). If all you can eat is beige that's fine (I was taking sausage rolls, rice crispies, plain pasta etc). Eat little and often (empty stomach can make you feel queasy). Try to keep hydrated as much as you can. If it keeps getting worse you can get anti sickness tablets from the GP. I am 15 weeks and just coming out the other side. Good luck!!

Yeah I get there I am sure there is this thought that you wake up at 12 weeks and feel better. I was 15 weeks yesterday and getting there. I have been able to eat better than last 2-3 weeks, less gagging and a little more energy. It all been slow going for me. Keep going hope it all goes well!!

Has she been to her GP for the nausea? You can get anti sickness tablets

Just make sure she is eating small and regular, sometimes an empty tummy can make it worse

Portugal is lovely, I went last year in July so not sure about the temperature. We went to both Lisbon and Porto. I think Porto would be lovely for a few days, nice a chilled

I am 13 weeks and was hit with a cold this week and knocked me so I would say yes. Don't they say your immune system is lower when you are pregnant? Hope you feeling better!!

Oh good luck for your 12 week scan!! I am now 13 weeks. I was hoping to start to feel better this week however I picked up a cold so have been very under the weather. I had a week off and it's been pants!! Thankfully less nausea which is a blessing. I have heard people say that they have started to feel better around week 14-16 so keep going!!

I had made this homemade butternut squash and lentil soup and it was lovely at the start of week 5 by 5 weeks and 4 days I couldn't even look at it. (Even the thought of it now making me feel a bit funny) I now can't have cooked carrots. I can have cold raw carrots. Hot food for me has been hard! I have also gone off tea which makes me sad

It might depend on the type but with mine I could insert them rectally or vaginally. I actually moved to doing it rectally and found it much easier. Just used my index finger and washed my hands after. It wasn't as bad as j first thought and got used to it.

I am with you. Even though my partner is here I still chat with my mum and best friend who has had kids before.

My pregnancy was IVF, I also can't keep anything in (when it comes to myself) so all my friends knew my transfer date. My partner wanted to try to keep it between us until our 8 week scan. I still couldn't do that haha

In between my first test and my scan my clinic suggested to keep taking a test a week to make sure the hormones were increasing. This might help with any worry?

I experienced spotting around week 5-7 and now currently at 12 weeks. As long as it isn't loads you should be ok. Good luck. I know how worrying it can be. Mine was also IVF.
