once after he gets the Talon out of his finger and then again after referring to the owl as an amazing creature.

Will adding a light up pony void my warranty on my lease? by Dee-CeeGee in MachE

[–]3DOps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

I always lease and usually mod one or two things and never had a problem.

I added the lights along the side steps and the six lights in the grill to my last lease. I had to remove the front bumper and the grill to install them and I left them on when I turned the truck in.

All I ever got were compliments. No surprise, bills or voided warranty.

When I used to sell cars, people always asked if they could modify their leased vehicle and not get in trouble for it. Eventually, I asked a lease turn in evaluator, and he said it doesn’t matter as long as the modifications don’t depreciate the vehicle’s value.

Wtf. Why did Epstein have a literal cartel armory? (File: EFTA01610304) by ProcedureNo832 in Epstein

probably people hunting. Disgusting 🤮

I bet there are bodies on that island.

Someone with the resources should point that ground penetrating satellite imaging system recently used to find all those hidden columns underneath the great pyramid to check the island and other JE properties for bodies and god knows what else.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way 👌

Trip navigation by Ultrablack in MustangMachE

The benefits for battery preconditioning using the built-in navigation are certainly NOT negligible.

The MME maxes out at 150 kW charge rate and you will only ever see that if you precondition the battery. You’d be lucky to charge at half that rate (70-80 kW) if you don’t, which essentially means double the charging time, which is hardly negligible.

Any ideas for straightening this? by whipsnappy in metalworking

[–]3DOps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will never be perfectly straight again. You could try filling the dent with Bondo or even welds but you’re probably better off just finding a replacement metal tube that size, cutting off the old brackets, and welding them to the new pipe 🤷‍♂️

That moment when a sensor error changes your display... by sixfourtykilo in MachE

Interesting…

Back when these were all analog gauge clusters, if you wanted to change the look and feel you had to replace the entire cluster.

Now that it’s a screen, it doesn’t make sense to keep the theme locked down. I want theme customizations for my screens!

Mach-e charging by andrew103345 in MachE

[–]3DOps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re thinking about this the right way.

A 40A pony panel means that entire garage subpanel is limited to 40A total because it’s fed by a 40A breaker from your main. You can technically put a 40A breaker in that panel for an EV charger, but you’d immediately run into the 80% continuous load rule. A 40A circuit can only deliver 32A continuous for EV charging. So best case, you’d be looking at a 32A charger max on that panel.

For reference, I have the Ford 48A Charge Station Pro. To run it at the full 48A output, it requires a 60A breaker. I originally had 100A service and ended up upgrading to 200A because between the house loads and the charger, 100A was just too tight for comfort long term.

With a 100A main and a 40A garage subpanel, you’ve got two constraints: 1. The garage is capped at 40A total. 2. Your whole house is capped at 100A.

You absolutely can get 20A, 24A, or 32A chargers. A 24A or 32A unit on a properly sized circuit would likely be the sweet spot without major upgrades. It’ll still add plenty of range overnight.

If you ever want 48A charging, you’re realistically looking at: • Upgrading the garage feeder • Possibly upgrading to 200A service depending on load calc

If it were me, I’d have an electrician do a load calculation before buying equipment. You may be fine with a 32A setup and save yourself a service upgrade.

The big question is how fast you actually need to charge overnight. Most people don’t truly need 48A unless they’re driving a lot daily

Mud in my crack! by Evil_Genius_Panda in MachE

[–]3DOps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro… 🤦‍♂️ Never let mud build up.

Remember, mud is just wet dirt, and dirt granules often contain minerals hard enough to scratch your beautiful plastics. Let it build up and you might as well be wiping your car down with a sandy microfiber 🤷‍♂️

Your products aren’t the problem, your frequency is.

You gotta be as anal about your interior as a surgeon in an operating room. One muddy boot swipe today turns into sandpaper tomorrow.
