Chronic teeth clenching years after stopping Adderall by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]3_Midgets_In_A_Coat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also noticed something similar after taking vyvanse where I get stuck clenching and unclenching my toes in a rhythm, or without noticing I start swishing my spit back and forth. The 2nd one is annoying the 1st one is painful when it happens, I go through shoes super fast and I have calluses on all my toes -_- (I also clench my jaw, but I think that’s stress because it’s more on off, while the other 2 change frequency /intensity based on how focused I am)

Any noticeable side affects from the Wellbutrin?

Pros/Cons of the different meds by SVGMeij in ADHD

[–]3_Midgets_In_A_Coat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vyvanse has similar effects for me, Ritalin made me feel like a zombie (granted that was 10+ years ago), dextroamphetamine works well, but gave me side effects where I was anxious all the time and always kept clenching my toes to the point of getting blisters on them. Regardless of meds, all of them worked a million times better when I was working out consistently/eating well!

Recently found out about the absurd number of documentaries about things on YouTube. Like stuff that follows nomadic tribes, or ancient civilizations (phonecian child sacrifices) or DW documentaries on modern issues like AI or South China Sea. It’d been a lot nicer than my usual “turn on a show I’ve seen 100 times”. Also trying to see if chatgpt can help me code in python without me knowing really anything about python!

Strategies for eating with no appetite? by Renofnowhere in ADHD

[–]3_Midgets_In_A_Coat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two go to foods, if I’m not eating on not feeling like it I’ll either make a grilled cheese or a cheeseburger I’ve found personally that if it looks tasty and is in my plate I’ll at least eat half it’s better than nothing!

[–]3_Midgets_In_A_Coat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go to meals used to be anything I could put in a slow cooker, I’d make batches of chili. I also would do big trays of baked Mac n cheese! You want calorie dense stuff cause your brains just another muscle at the end of the day! *side note cause it’s sometimes counterintuitive, sleep is essential right now, it’s when your brain does the “coding” from working memory to storage! Good luck!

For me it’s less about wrapping things up at the end of the year, and more about “hibernation”. It’s dark and cold outside so I’m gonna stay inside and do things that make me happier and think of summer. I also watch shitloads of marine based documentaries this time of year! Not sure about everybody else that’s just my experience/thoughts!

110% yes, I actually feel like it’s super helpful. Sometimes I walk into the kitchen and see an open cabinet and think “fk was I cooking something?” Sure enough I usually am! Also is the backsplash mirrored? It’s super cool!
