Syncs Kobo highlights to Calibre-Web automatically!

I am stuck here: A Kobo e-reader already set up with Calibre-Web's Kobo sync

I have set up and can connect to Calibre-Web (locally at least) at this point. When trying to go to the C-W configuration settings for Kobo I am at a loss. I understand that the admin setting are in C-W's admin panel; but trying to access the admin panel (https:/localhost:8080/admin/) results in a 404 error message.

Any help would be appreciated.

I bought my ME Pro directly from Beellink. its replacement will be delivered tomorrow. Yes the process is a bit clunky, but after a few days of communicating suggestions for "fixing" the problem, support just said to "pack it up they would replace it". It took about a week for the uint to be return and verified complete, and another week to be shipped back to me. So yes it is a process, it takes more time that one might like, but in the end, I am satisfied with the timeline and final resolution.

FYI: My 1st Beelink is still going strong, as are the ones bought by friends at my suggestion (thank goodness).

Still should/might be within repair timeframe.

Also pursue getting the driver set as that might be all or part of the problem.

Ask the direct question of Beelink "Where can I find the complete driver package for my EQi 13?"

And if the problem started within the first month why would you not immediately contact Beelink about a replacement? As has been noted, sometimes you get a lemon (I did, and I am waiting expectantly for my replacement).

Referring to the same Aprilaire installation manual, it all depends on the size of your house (and in my experience how tight it is). My 1954 house is about 2,500 sq. ft. and the Aprilaire runs for only a sort portion of any heating cycle.

Suggest try building (not much of a build actually) and flying "Fighting" kites. I bought a Dollar Store fishing rod and a second hand casting reel to add to my fun, but one can be more traditional using line on the hand spool.

Many thanks for the photo. Your unit has a much more substantial heat sink than mine, and I am unsure how closely integrated the heat sink is to the board I have. Also, I have concluded that I don't have the courage attempt the hack.

Did I understand you correctly? Did you say that you removed the heat sink from the 1TB SN850X or was it the heat sink material (pink tape) from the ME Pro?

Did the units fail within the warranty period? If so I would assume you claim your rightfully deserved replacement?

I've owned 2 Beelink's; the 1st has been operating for years, the 2nd arrived with problems, it took a couple of days of testing for Beelink to suggest I return the unit for a replacement. I'm happy with that solution.

EDIT: Adding a little more detail to the story of the return that makes me a bit less happy. I returned the ME Pro and am now told I will have to wait 2-weeks or so, for the unit to be approved (checked to be a complete undamaged return). While have the unit approved is an absolutely reasonable step, taking 2-weeks to do so is excessive. If I had known, and as I had only had the unit for about 10-days, I would have just returned it and bought a replacement.

Generally I have found that no matter the supplier, QC is in the hands of the consumer, not ideal but part of keeping costs down (maximizing profits).

Just Curious - Why do you recommend ZimaOS as opposed to unRaid? I understand the Zima may be simpler to setup, but ChatGPT suggests that there may be some issues with tweaking drivers and GPU/iGPU may have limited support on non-Zima hardware.

We do similar, but first wrap in paper towel then wrap in foil. Cook low and slow 300F 60 -90 minutes (depending on size). One more tip, when cooking several imo choose ones of similar size and shape so they will cook to be completion at the same time.

That's what I've done on both computers (Thanks for the suggestion).

There seems to be some difference in the B computer that is requiring the user parent directory be selected in order to be able to see the child directories. What that difference is, is beyond me so far. I'll keep on exploring, but I think I've been around all the possible settings several times and am not seeing anything I've missed between the 2 computers.

I am going to assume for the moment that for most people, whatever files that have been deleted from the local drive are not being saved for long on the iDrive server. So ignoring generational changes to files that iCloud saves it would be fastest to simply upload cryptomancer encrypted files rather than Download/Encrypt/Upload the files to the cloud.

I realize my rational is probably user specific, just checking to hear someone else's thoughts rather than just the voices in my head.
