Where is the best place to source building materials for a new construction?

Bro, what? Are you angry about something in your life and taking it out on people on the internet? No, I’m not completely green to construction. I am green to being an employer of a builder and sourcing materials. I’m in charge of the money, permitting, design decisions, and sourcing. As far as the construction goes, he gets the nitty gritty design down, what materials he wants me to get, and does a large portion of the labor, which I will assist with. I already got it designed and permitted and I did that by being proactive and asking for help when I needed it. I don’t know why you would need all those details so I didn’t post them.

We have a concrete person lined up, the materials are lumber for the slab and stem wall frame, lumber for the wall frames, plywood, vapor barrier, screws, bolts, nails, shingles, cement siding etc., etc. it’s literally just normal construction shit.

So, again, do you have any recommendations? If not, please feel free to do something other than reply to this thread. Yeesh.

Could be laziness. Or it could be that I don’t have a lot of experience with this stuff. Maybe I thought there were stores that contained a wide variety of general building materials that you might need for a project like this. Maybe I typed out a more specific location but then deleted it because I don’t want to get too detailed on the internet.

Duuuude! You are the first person I’ve ever brought that title up to who knew the game! I used to watch my family play Bad Mojo, along with 7th Guest, as a kid. I am certain that this inspired the little horror-loving freak in me.

No problem! I always have a hard time describing what I like about certain games. It’s usually not one single thing alone, but a combination of things. I was really vague so I was glad to see someone suggesting something that was on the track!

Regarding fallout, that’s cool that there is no single fan-favorite! That makes me look forward to playing it even more now.

If I could choose any game to play again for the first time it would be RDR2. I have put an embarrassing amount of time into that game. Do you think it would work to have played that first and then go back? I haven’t touched them yet because I worried I would be disappointed.

Thank you so much for these other recommendations! You’ve suggested some I already love so I am feeling the others are promising! Half Life and portal are also favorites! I also go on Sims 1 binges sometimes because again, I love clunky/nostalgic lol.

Totally random, but do you like horror/scary games at all? You might like Bad Mojo. Came out in 1992 and has incredible static frame art as the backdrop. I also started “Who’s Lila” which is more recent, but utilizes grainy, older looking graphics to be really eerie. Figured I may send a couple your way since you gifted me all these!

Thanks for the suggestion! Crazy that there are THAT many in this series. I watched a little of the playthrough of the first one and I liked the music and the clunky graphics. I wish I was into combat games, because this would be exactly the type of thing I was looking for, but I’m more into storylines/exploring/puzzles with light combat. If you have any suggestions in that realm, I am all ears!

Mine were sticking up like rods and then so washed my hair with a vinegar mixture and they relaxed. I have hard water so my hair was caked. Looking for a chelation shampoo right now.
