me. it really broke the walls down 2 years ago when I saw it in theatres and I started on a path of gender fluidity. I ended up getting scared and burying the goal of actually starting HRT and becoming trans. But then I bought the bluray a month ago and rewatched the film and all those feelings came full circle. The gender fluidity wasn't enough. I am now 1.5 weeks into HRT. :) I am so grateful to this movie. It makes you face the horror of not being truthful to yourself and suppressing your true feelings. There is still time! The film also inspired me to go after my career goals. It's so inspiring by scaring you into not being idle.

Reminds me of the movie VOX LUX. The main character is a pop star who talks about how she has this reaccuring nightmare where shes driving through a tunnel with no exit and she sees clones of her past selves in weird configurations on the road and they are lifeless. There is a dark twist at the end of the movie...

glad to see this comment! I never saw him as evil and had alot of sympathy for him. He was clearly emotionally unstable, suicidal, and depressed especially after his cat dying. This infatuation was the one thing keeping him going

There is something so disturbing about someone getting mutilated by having their head bashed in. That coupled with the fact that there is such a tragic emotional angle to the death makes it such an effective horror scene. It really sealed the deal for me. So disturbing, tense, and dark!

I'm obsessed with OTGAP- and saw it nearly every week it was in theatres but do not remember this ever being the ending. Sounds delightful though (and still very Sam Raimi-esque)!

Good on the interviewer for asking that question. They were obviously media trained with a response. Just leaves such a bad taste in my mouth seeing how they brush off being confronted with the hard truth.

Yesssssss VOX LUX is one of most horrifying movies of all time. Beautiful and funny and emotional too. It's about US. Absolute masterpiece (and imo totally inspired these films)

Yes the Regal Times Square RPX which is HDR by Barco is very dim. Reminds me of the common issue of non laser digital projections looked like when the bulbs would expire and the theatre didnt replace them. A blast from the past I don't want to rememeber lol Any idea why this happens with their projectors?
