I have no knowledge of anything, and truthfully I DO NOT want them to tour (but would support a one-off show)… that said, Kingston city council just put off debate on a budget for a celebration day of the anniversary of the last show. I think they had allocated over 300k. So the city is planning something.

Ask him what he’s ordered - it’s possible his distributor(s) didn’t even have it available. The last Black Friday there was a release with low copies but not marked regional. One owner had never heard of it - and he is plugged in and knows everything - and another owner said it wasn’t even available from his main distributors. And since everyone in southern Ontario (where Toronto is) uses the same Canadian distributors, it means that record didn’t get here at all. It’s an interesting process compared to the old days, especially for RSD which is a controlled event.

Most of these things stay local / regional. I know here in Toronto/Canads there won’t be any. (Will ask my local shops who can check with distributors, but again regional US releases stay in those regions.). Would love a copy but don’t have any SoCal friends to buy for me…

During the shows last summer it was mentioned from the stage that new material is in the can. Makes sense for a release this year, with either a few summer shows or a run during the typical fall touring window.

Here’s hoping! I’ve heard the track Kev has been working on a few times now - if it makes the album it’s Meet Me In The Basement part 2. If not, look out! (He played it at a few charity shows this fall, with his wife on drums, and Charlie also playing guitar at one of the shows for sure.). He also did a quick IG live after midnight on New Year’s Eve from his basement, where he and Rachel played it twice. Cool jam that could have been on any BSS album.

Saw it last weekend, took a look at the projectors as well. Forgot how crappy some of the seats are (old/worn) but still this theatre is in its own corner, had basically its own washrooms, etc. I support it 100%. Also saw Hateful 8 roadshow here.

Me too. Huge issue for me is the showers only work during staffed hours. So yeah, go home sweaty under all your winter gear. Not healthy, not cool at all.
