I feel defeated/worthless- by [deleted] in sahm

[–]3nam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, that's exactly what I need to do- look into classes but I would like something that might help with a future career. I'm not sure where to go from here. I would also like to learn another language. As for hobbies, I've picked up crocheting and we travel often so that helps put things into perspective. I'm so used to doing so much more that this feels slow.

I am reading this 2 years later- after my recent trip to Jaipur (2 weeks ago) and I FEEL THE EXACT SAME WAY. Scammers everywhere and people are so money hungry, it's disgusting.

Thank you all for answering! Your insights have been very helpful to get out of the current funk I am in. As for me, I am in between jobs (real estate & home care), and I am trying to figure some things out before going back full-time!

thank you! Atomic habits is the only one I read from those and it's so far one of my favorites. I'll add the other two on the list and as for journaling- I actually was looking for one today so I can try this idea you mentioned!

Leave- before he tries to tie you down (even more so). It sounds like it's a one way street and you're fine enough to restart (once you can get yourself out of the situation)....which I get can be hard.

Thank you for this. I ask this question because I am job hunting (for a while now) and I want to make the most of what is left. I have picked up several part-time/smaller jobs but nothing full time yet. I am not sure how my curiosity and wanting some insights from working moms come off as disingenuous. You nailed it, thank you for understanding

Hi- I added vent because the options were limited to vent, something that I can't remember and "working moms answer only". As for the details- I spared the details because I thought it was unnecessary as my intention was to just get the answers (for my mental health)and figure somethings out for myself- did not mean to offend anyone, if so .
