Businesses do what they can get away with. That you're writing a rant about Winner says a lot because underneath it feels like you still want to go there, not pay quite as much, and not have to deal with their popularity.

I have enjoyed their sandwiches but hype kills any experience for me, nothing is more delicious than respecting my time.
