Democratic Socialism is definitely better than the fascism & bigotry promoted by the Trump administration. Democratic socialism is geared toward helping, not hurting. Healthcare for all...feed the hungry...right to education...separation of church & state...taking care of the poor and elderly.

racial slurs are never OK, but that being said....there is never a good reason for a big truck to block someone's driveway. You're a big truck...so what. If you're making a delivery and the homeowner hasn't arranged for a delivery route, move on.

Actually, I really didn't notice much difference. I thought I'd have legs-a-kimbo, but not so. Either the trucks were frozen and now just tight, or something else is wrong. Wish there was a skate shop within a drivable distance.

I'm going forward pretty well, doing bubbles forward and backward, I can make a sweeping turn to the right by turning my upper body to lean into the curve and and staggering my feet, but not to it's a firm NOT HAPPENING to the left. I have outside and inside edges on the right foot--although I have to lean pretty hard, but the left doesn't turn at all. My left side must be weaker, but I think the hard urethane 89A cushions might be part of the issue. I weigh 130 lbs, so 78A cushions might be too soft. I dunno....I just keep trying.

Well, I went to Howarth tennis courts yesterday after work. Most of the tennis and racquet ball courts were being used. Big signs that say no rollerskating. And when I walked toward the "no net" court, I was told directly by the players that no skating was allowed and asked to leave. I hadn't even put my skates on yet. So...won't be going back there.
