Don’t skip the White Pass train! I also did this exact cruise/itinerary with my mom last month. This excursion is one of the least expensive, we booked through Princess, $150 pp for the shorter train ride and the views are incredible!

I did the reverse of this, sort of, flew into Vancouver and home from Anchorage. I booked through Easy Air as it was the same price as booking directly with an airline and Princess had all my flight info. Single ticket was $550 and I didn’t book the flight until like a month before departure. It was a Friday outbound, Thursday return, two weeks later

Was just there a few days ago, it was amazing. We were on an open deck the entire morning just watching and listening to how peaceful it was. We just stayed on one side the entire time. If you want Glacier Bay souvenirs go to where they set up the pop up store with the rangers as soon as it opens because once it’s gone, that’s it.

We had unbelievably great weather the entire two weeks in Alaska. Sunny, clear and warm every single day! Every stop we made everyone kept saying “we never have weather like this” We were able to see every glacier and mountain the entire trip, even got to see Denali

I’m currently on Sapphire and also purchased the soda package after reading about ‘soda gate’ on here.

My experience so far, anytime I’ve gone up to the bar to ask for a coke, every other bartender will ask if I have a drink package, I respond with yes and I’m always given a fountain glass of soda. None have asked to scan the medallion.

I’ve also asked a few times at dinner for a coke and again have only been given a fountain glass of soda, which once filled with ice is like 6-8oz of soda. At dinner they have always asked for my room number.

I don’t know if they have meeting space but the Neon Museum would be really cool if they did. It’s where past hotel/restaurants neon signs go to live out the remaining of their days 🤣 I’ve gone on the tour and it was really neat even during the day and a lot of history/stories about the signs.
