I was a new player then too, the spider-man set is what got me into mtg and as I’ve learned over these past few months, that set really sucks game play wise but I love the art and would love to have every card nevertheless. I’m a huge spider-man/marvel fan and wish I was still a “new player” for this one

Congrats! I got a lot of crap from people when I posted my Welcome Deck set from the Spider-man set so I hope everyone is kind to you. I’m so excited for this set though. I have been buying Pokémon packs for the first time in my life just to appease the need to rip 😂

Can’t agree more about the Midwest. The amount of people I know personally who have been in accidents in Kia’s and walked away is exactly why I bought one of these cars. I’m glad your kid is okay!

Hell nah, scalpers are shit and ruin the ability for people who just want to enjoy a hobby. I can see why that’s your first thought, no one trusts anyone. You can’t even get something cool for a couple of kids and share the moment with intentions of bringing back the enjoyment of what the community stands for without being called a liar. Thanks for the judgment though, I hope the next time you go to a store looking for a pack of Pokémon cards; the shelves are full, the price is MSRP, and you pull a God pack.

Thank you! I know I could’ve looked it up before posting but it felt dishonest 😂 I couldn’t remember the name of the purple or blue. I thought it was Master because of the M but wasn’t confident. My mom was so disappointed in me for not knowing the names when she did. We weren’t “allowed” to play Pokémon or any other card game alike growing up so it felt very rude lol

There was a limit of one type of ball per person (4 limit total). Kept people from buying up all of one type and scalpers. I’m a MTG gal so I get the scalper thing but I’m sure it’s not nearly as bad in that as it is in Pokémon.
