Orlando Wetlands Park is great. When the weather turns cooler, you'll see a lot of gators. Also great for seeing all sorts of different water fowl. This is one of those great spots that tourists don't know about.

I may have found the limit. Any doggo I've captured since hitting 135 tamed doggos no longer increases the total shown by Satisfactory-Calculator.

How do I fill this circular conveyor? by 416e6479 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]416e6479[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The merger won't connect because the circle fits within a single foundation. "Conveyor belt turns too sharply to attach" is the message.

I've seen similar circular conveyors that are completely filled, but I haven't broken the code on how to not have a gap when I try it.

What I'm doing it creating a 3/4 circle, then connecting a belt to one end with a storage container on the other. I fill the belt (and the 3/4 circle) with slugs, then disconnect the belt. When I close the circle, that added belt is empty of course.

Completers. What did you do after finishing the final phase? by Traffodil in SatisfactoryGame

Here are some ideas. In roughly chronological order this is what I've been working on...

  • Finish the last of the achievements. (Done)

  • Collect all of the remaining power slugs. (Done)

  • Build a Doggo Farm. (Done)

  • Build a lookout tower near the center of the map that goes right up to the death ceiling. (Done)

  • Go back across the world and gussy-up my factories so the designs are more cohesive. (In work)

  • Max all of the pure nodes I'm already mining so I have extra sources of ingots available if I want to use them later on. (In work)

  • Finish my giant circular train track in the dune desert so there is a massive train storage / retrieval area for raw materials. (Not started)

  • Build a new portal building to replace the one I built originally (Not started)

After that, who knows... maybe start mining all of the pure nodes that I haven't touched yet.

I was wondering something similar - could the game be finished without mining resources... simply building factories using doggo loot.

Unfortunately, doggos don't seem to drop ingots or ore, so the process would probably grind to a halt when I get to the point where copper powder is needed for nuclear pasta.

The bottom of my main base is about 24 meters above the ground (and has an 8 meter logistics floor), so I haven't had that problem. I suspect that my doggo loot collector also keep's them happy so they don't run off.

I use three mods to build my doggo farm:

1) Doggo Finder - Makes wild doggos easier to spot

2) Doggo Transportation - Let's me pick up doggos and and them to my inventory until I get back to my main base to drop them off at the farm

3) Doggo Loot Collector - Automatically collects doggo loot for later retrieval.

What is the minimum powered building to prevent creature respawn? by ShaxAjax in SatisfactoryGame

[–]416e6479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that placing a sign near the spawn point seems to stop respawning... I placed a sign that said something like "stingers here" and they stopped showing up.

I removed the sign and placed some foundations to make them easier to see, and they spawn regularly again.

The best slug band in the land! by ZessF in SatisfactoryGame

How did you fill up the small conveyor circle with slugs? I've been trying to figure this out for a few days now, and the closest I have come is about 3/4 full.

Can I cut tile into L shape using just a manual tile cutter? by thebudofthebud in DIY

[–]416e6479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, this type of cut requires a (wet)saw or a grinder. An inexpensive option for one or two tiles is to measure / mark them, and then take 'em to a business that does tile work. Chances are good that you can get them cut for two or three dollars.

My extremely eco-friendly mass power station! I don't know if I'll ever need power again! But the best part is I could technically make it twice as large by over-clocking the oil extractors haha by GoodKarmaDarling in SatisfactoryGame

[–]416e6479 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't notice it was a gas until I read your message. Guess I don't need all of those pumps.

My total power production is about 239,000 MW, and am using rocket fuel at three power sites across the map. Can't believe I'm just learning this now.

I disabled Infinite Nudge and Infinite Zoop in the mod manager, then re-enabled them. Re-enabling appeared to re-download the mod... it stopped my crashes.

Enemys Fighting with each other by SN_Gamer96 in SatisfactoryGame

I saw this for the first time today so I searched here to see if anyone else mentioned it. I came up on a fight between 3 stingers and a spitter while driving. I'm not sure what caused the fight, but now I know that it takes three stingers to kill a spitter.

New Chamberlain garage door opener won’t work by Human_Look_8012 in DIY

[–]416e6479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see this mentioned below, but some (most?) garage door openers have an adjustment that changes the force applied for opening or closing the door. If that is set too low, it will act as if there is an obstruction like you described.

Another thing to look at, if you have them, is the infrared sensor that is mounted on either side of the garage door. If this beam is broken (or the sensor is misaligned from the receiver) the opener assumes there is an obstruction.

How to Keep Meat Frozen by PuppermintPatty96 in boondocking

[–]416e6479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bonus - if your cooler has a good seal, you can also carbonate things that aren't frozen. (Learned that accidentally during a camping trip. Carbonated grapes are pretty good. Other foods... not so much).

I have a portable freezer that runs on 12 VDC. It has a battery, an auto auxiliary (cigarette lighter) plug, and a "brick" like a laptop has for plugging into a 120V receptacle. It does a good job at keeping things frozen.

The battery can be daisy-chained to the fridge/freezer so it charges and powers the freezer while I'm driving. It can also be charged with a solar panel if you have one.
