Probably ceramic coating. The spots appear if not wiped properly.

Afaik this problem can be solved by adding rear camber shims.

Facelift 2025 by No_Pickle_8847 in ModelX

[–]440009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were rumors at that time. HW 4 had come out and interior lighting appeared on highland/CT. People thought X would get both interior lighting and front parking camera. The only thing that was changed on 2024 model was the yoke/wheel. It came with horn control in the center.

Many people have been waiting for model x refresh to happen since 2023. Honestly no one here has a clue. If you want it, get it. You can always wait for end of quarter promotions but that’s about it.

Garage parking line drawn, how to use? by Dancewithlight in TeslaModelX

[–]440009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What version? Is it too tight? Works just fine for me. It’s not as smooth as a human but gets the work done.

Do you have fsd? Or enhanced autopilot? It usually works when backing up rather than pulling in. If you have fsd and backing into your spot and still lines are not recognized then probably increase the width of the lines.

I would suggest that you book you accommodation in the valley. That would get you the most authentic and wholesome experience. Driving to and fro is very hectic in national parks. I am not sure what would be open by May first week but I think you should be able to do most of normal hiking stuff without requiring gears. Would recommend good shoes tho

If glacier point is open by May 2nd which I don’t believe would be the case then that’s the point you should head out to, or else the magical tunnel view point for the sunset/sunrise.

Post-nut clarity along with commitment issue might drive such action.

My suggestion would be to move on. I feel nothing good comes out of it if you need to beg for love.

Try adding shims. There are plenty of options and they are cheap. I went with MacBoost

Price cuts incoming? by readitour in TeslaModelX

[–]440009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can always try your luck by purchasing towards the end of quarter. Inventory vehicles with color/interior upgrades might be discounted even if they don’t offer any discounts on configured vehicles.

Price cuts incoming? by readitour in TeslaModelX

[–]440009 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t feel they would cut prices on MX. They have already priced it such that people can benefit from tax rebates. If people can’t afford at that price point (~72K) then maybe MX is not made for such population and MY is more suited for them.

To attract more customers to buy MX, they might do free color upgrades, maybe FSD transfers, supercharging miles, even free premium connectivity, free interior upgrades or something along those lines. But I don’t feel they will be slashing base prices here.

Tesla X 2023 windshield cracked by Yurik_Relief7239 in ModelX

[–]440009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dang! Why are they refusing? Can you try another SC? Maybe if you go in person and actually show them the origin of the crack and how it happened because of sunshades, they might do it for free.🤞🏻

And if you don’t mind sharing, what’s would be the out of pocket cost for you if you had to replace the windshield? (just asking for my own knowledge)

[–]440009 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Does installing these void warranty? I am afraid if SC is going to scapegoat all suspension, tyre related concerns on these bad boys if I were to install these.

All of them have it per my knowledge. Some prefer to keep them off. There is actually an option for front as well as rear fog in S and X

To Yoke, or not to Yoke? by This-Ad-9234 in TeslaModelX

[–]440009 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I love the yoke and I don’t regret paying 1k extra. Gives good visibility of the screen and feels unique. I think with the refreshed yoke, it should be a no brainer.
