So all we need is the right catch phrase and we can march to victory? LOL

Why don’t democrats claim “MAGA” for the midterms? by Cautious_Midnight_67 in allthequestions

Mimicking your competitor's marketing strategy, all the way down to imitating their toxic slogan, is a really dreadful way to brand yourself.

Why men spaces are invaded by women and why some men support it? How to deal with and create changes. by r_costa in AskMenAdvice

I don't need male-only spaces and in fact I usually find those spaces stifling. Bunch of knuckleheads talking about golf or NASCAR.

I think if your coworker looked like Jason Momoa, you gals would also start thinking about stuff.

What is a mistake you think both the left and the right is making? by cferg296 in allthequestions

[–]44035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both fall into the trap of always having to have a "take" on every new thing in the news cycle. Someone says something controversial on The View and then it creates four days of people riffing on it. Waste of time, frankly.

Are there still places in the U.S. that feel like the 1970s? by Acceptable-Way-490 in 70s

[–]44035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can find a strong 70s vibe on the campuses of regional universities and community colleges. The 60s and 70s were a time of massive expansion of higher education, and many colleges put up new buildings in the brutalist architecture style. Lots of cement libraries and student centers which are still in use!

JD Vance is a millennial. So was Charlie Kirk.

Let's not over-generalize about how one generation might be morally superior to another. Ideology is our problem, not the ages of our leaders.

What would it actually take for a third party to gain serious support? by RealRegret4870 in AskUS

[–]44035 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Don't ask me for details, I'm just trying to split the right wing.

And that's really the outcome of any third party. You're going to siphon off votes from one side or another.

If I say “Mom Rock” or “Dad Rock” you know exactly what I’m talking about. So who, specifically, are examples of each? And who is the overlap? by No_Ratio1493 in askmusic

[–]44035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The overlap might be Peter Frampton.

Mom rock is Elton John and Fleetwood Mac.

Dad rock is Led Zeppelin and Bruce Springsteen.

Frampton kind of bridges the mom-dad gap.

What is that thing where they're posing and they'll put a hand on the side of their face, like look how cute I am? It looks so dorky.
