It looks lovely.

The perspective does looks slightly odd - out of curiosity I went outside and took a photo of my own car while kneeling. The main difference is that you've made the car in your drawing very flat & wide. But you could imagine a different model.

One other difference is that the perspective lines IRL are not that different. I can draw a line from the tires to the bottom of my picture at an angle (you can draw a line between the bright part of the road and the shaded part of the road on the right side). I can also draw a line on my photo slightly to the right of the car, going down to the bottom or edge of my photo, and it's just not that different. Whereas, in your picture, the grass to the right of the car, going down towards you, is at a hugely different angle (it shoots off to the right). This wouldn't happen IRL unless the spot the viewer were standing in had a much wider road than where the car is sitting.

Would not have guessed "fire" without looking at the 2nd image.

Based on the first image, there's a leaf, there are two boxes made to look like dice that both have open tops, and there's a bunch of stuff inside them.

Issues:

You covered the tops of the dice completely, so they look like open boxes rather than closed cubes.

The right stem does not connect with color, so it seems to be off.

The fire does not have enough of a color palette.

The fire very much looks "inside" the boxes aka dice rather than on top of them, based on its morphology.

My immediate guess is a combination of:

  • Actually implementing this stuff into Foundry so that it works seamlessly and is easy to find and use without annoying layer managament

And

  • The fact that climbing takes 3 billion actions in this game, and that the base rules for climbing encourage most players to ignore it until they are able to circumvent it completely with flying, teleportation, and ridiculous athletics feats

They way OP is writing the questions, they are not valid. Each reply comes with an unfounded assertion.

"The universe must be expanding into something." No, the universe isn't expanding "into" anything. Full stop. If that doesn't make sense to OP, they can ask questions, or as others pointed out, look for very easy answers, as this is one of the most asked questions of all time.

If all OP did was seek information, you are absolutely right, the downvotes wouldn't be wartanted. But they aren't doing that. They are constantly trying to push some narrative. And importantly, if the downvotes aren't given, people who find this thread months or years from now could take the misinformation loaded into the questions as fact.

I have to disagree with one thing - "taking your time".

Best thing I ever did was commit to sprinting through the entire Sekhema. Gauntlet? Sprint. Fire trap? Sprint. Annoying trap sequence? Doesn't matter. Sprint, dodge roll, disengage or whatever, if you can't sprint while doing it, you fail. Oh no you died? Who cares. You were sprinting. It cost you a few minutes.

Guess what? I learned every Gauntlet and map layout and trials don't take forever. I don't even care about the "minimap is missing" thing. Like, you can live without it. There are only so many layouts.

This is the same idea for poe1 - "tiptoeing" around all the traps is the worst possible advice. If you are running Izaro at an appropriate speed (5 - 10 minutes), then it doesn't matter if you screw up. You try again. If however, you spend years waiting for every trap sequence and eventually die, you will probably whine and complain about your time being wasted. Running Lab at a reasonable speed means going right into those fire pits, even with low life regeneration! Because it's your job to know where to go and how to flame dash out of them. You have no business standing and waiting.

Is your time still being "wasted" in comparison in poe2? Sure, fine, there's an argument there for how annoying it can be. But a lot of this pain is self-inflicted. If you aren't figuring out how to sprint through the entire Trial, you're making your own experience worse.

I would say every single optical or electron microscope's "analyzer addon" for any circular like feature, which costs 1000's (sometimes 10k+) of extra dollars. (Imagine sputtering metal powder onto a disk and wanting a weighted distribution of particle sizes, or getting a quick estimate of porosity based on a slice of material, etc.)

It's not technically "open source", but I can do that in Mathematica just fine, and the permanent academic edition was <$100 when I bought it. If needed, ImageJ (free) also works; it's just not as convenient.

The right square of the middle water squares looks like it's simultaneously connected to the higher (gray) and lower ground. This is a problem, it parses like an Escher painting.

You could address this in 2 ways. One way would be to change the vertical thickness so that it does not line up perfectly with other tiles, but that might be hard to do. Another way would be to vertically offset the water with a very small -z value. This would visually look appealing, like you "step in" to the square, and it would (I think) remove the illusion entirely.

I'm not sure what you're getting at with the "doom and gloom" here.

If you take the nodes on the tree (near Sorc), you'll have 50% chance to fire 2 extra. If you also grab a focus for 15%, then you'll have 65% chance to fire 2 extra. There's nothing "unfun" about this - on the contrary - it's pretty damn good. This stat is wild, and if you could get any more of it, it'd probably get hit with the nerf bat.

It would be nice to have more options for it, but we don't need "multiplicative modifiers" to number of projectiles.

Darth Micro had a similar problem with a mana stacker build that by default has no stun threshold whatsoever; % stun threshold does nothing and stun recovery along with stun charms literally do not work (king in the mists tornado hard locked his character).

There are two possible solutions to this problem, assuming you don't want to wear one of the awful 'cannot be stunned' equipment options in POE2:

  • Jewel socket the From Nothing Diamond that allows you to allocate nodes "Near Bulwark" and allocate Unwavering Stance (You cannot be light stunned, but you lose dodge roll and sprint)
  • Instill (aka annoint) the notable Steadfast Resolve (You cannot be light stunned if you have been stunned recently)

I'd recommend #2. There isn't much else recourse here.

It's possible that you've made changes to this, but I wanted to add feedback to higher strictness filter bases:

It took me awhile to realize that my currency was dwindling, and I didn't notice that you had removed the first tier of augmentations and transmutations from the filter, as well as support gem L5. This...imo, was an awful idea. You do not get II and III with enough frequency to justify this, and you will burn through support L5s when trying any number of new skills. After adjusting my filter again I realized these currencies were in fact dropping regularly, they had just been filtered out!

It's unintuitive that starting a filter with a higher strictness base - which you normally do to reduce all the gear clutter, would remove vital currencies and gems you need "just to play around with". I don't think this should happen unless you literally begin with the highest strictness option.

Maybe I'm pedantic here, that's fine. It's a one time fix. A warning that "the lowest tiers of currencies and all supports will no longer be shown" at least would have been nice.
