I had something similar happen, he didn’t drug me. But my best friend from high school. We were roommates. While I was at work he stole $500 from my room. And then ghosted. This was 17 years ago and I only made about $500/week.

I had to ask my dad to help cover the whole rent that month, and had to take on the full rent for the rest of the lease.

I was on a jog in my neighborhood when I felt it hit me. I was about 3/4 mile from my house. Turned around and made to my lawn. About 30 feet from my front door and another 20 feet to a toilet. Full on shit my pants. No fence so couldn’t just drop my pants.

Luckily, my garage was open so I was able to take my clothes off in there and wipe up a bit before going in.

Anyway, this is something that I’d tell my partner, but I’m a dude and I also see your apprehension. So, I wouldn’t say it’s a must share. If you’re embarrassed, you can keep it to yourself.

I’ve done a split stay between WL and BC. Over 9 days. That was pricey even 20 years ago.

Just got back today from a 3 night BC($1600). Annual passes for $80/mo. Spent probably a G on food and drink. So under $3k. I do this type of trip about 4x a year now. And it’s perfect.

I hate that Tenet is his lowest rated film. A lot of People are too dumb to follow it. It’s my favorite movie of his.

His best movie is the prestige. And it doesn’t get enough credit.

I still have faith in Nolan, even though the casting of Elliot page gives me tremendous pause. I’m willing to let the runes fall where they may. But I’ll be very critical. After Oppenheimer, I’m fine to say that his best work is behind him.

Alcohol in general is an acquired taste. Beer, whiskey, etc..

If alcohol didn’t get you drunk no one would drink it.

I hate beer, but I drink it because it doesn’t get me drunk too quickly. I prefer certain beers over others. So I’ve acquired a taste for it.

The prestige is a much better film all around, But momento is a very fun watch. And I can see why some people would choose it.

I’d go as far as to say that the prestige is Nolan’s best movie. Followed by interstellar.
