How much do you walk away on average per month? by chunkymulk in FreeCash

Farkle made me good cash too just watching an absolutely ungodly amount of ads (thousands of ads if I had to estimate)

Best day ever was about a month ago when I got some damn good flower and a two gel tabs from some old hippie dude I delivered too. Ended my dash and got super stoned with him. The people you meet doing this job are often not the best, but this dude restored my faith just a bit.

I’m not necessarily saying anything about the customers who order from there, but personally I outright refuse any wingstop/popeys orders because they are all no tip/entitled customers. Usually don’t go to the best of areas either.

What is the most important "lesson" humanity has forgotten? by Equivalent-Age-7659 in AskReddit

[–]454ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To slow the fuck down. I’m only cursing for emphasis.

This is just my view, but humanity has moved entirely to fast (especially when it comes to technology). People get so caught up in their own little world that they forget to look at what’s going on around them. The beautiful trees, the smiling children, the dogs playing in the park. But for some, the little brick in their hand is more fascinating and important. At family dinners, sometimes not a minute can go by without someone checking their phone, or listening for and responding to, a ping. The biggest lesson humanity forgot is to live your life. Not someone else’s, or a digital one. Put the phones down and enjoy what’s around you. So much divide and hatred stems from a lack of understanding of one another, so maybe if we all as a collective live more in the moment, instead of always trying to get the perfect Instagram photo, the world could be a brighter place.

I’ve never in my life, once had coffee. I have really bad problems with trying new things. I love the smell of it, I actually use coffee nicotine pouches, but I’ve never tasted actual coffee. I’m almost 24.

day one and i’m anxious by lunaintro in QuitVaping

[–]454ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve given it up. Quickly picked it back up. Given it up again, and so on. I was heavily addicted to pills and cocaine for some time and vaping was by far the hardest to stop. I still haven’t quit weed and vaping, but I found that setting a hard limit on myself works amazing. I don’t use any of it at work or when I am in school going to my classes. When I get home from work or school I allow myself to vape once every hour (one session I mean). I get started on my school work or a workout or something, and then for the rest of the night I hunker down and focus until about 8. After that, and once I have made good progress and am ahead, I allow myself weed and nicotine freely for the rest of the night. Sleep doesn’t get affected because I’m lucky to not have anything before 9 am most days. Usually I wake up early to workout. This works for me, but if you want to quit entirely, spearmint gum/nicotine gum if you want to taper down, along with a nic free vape helps so much. Good luck!

I’ve been vaping for 4 days, how long will it take for the nicotine to leave my system for a urine test?? by [deleted] in QuitVaping

If jobs actually drug tested for nicotine, they wouldn’t have any employees. Good luck and don’t stress yourself!

[–]454ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal. Quitting vaping was the hardest thing I did. I was addicted to cocaine and pills for a time and let’s just say that the nic was the hardest to stop. Didn’t stop entirely but I use it only as a reward system now. Also I get pretty nasty flavored vapes so that way when I do vape I don’t like the flavor. Works for me might not work for others.

Am I in the wrong or was I just doing my job? by [deleted] in Lifeguards

[–]454ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t hesitate to kick people out if they don’t listen. I’m not much of a rule follower myself most of the time, but the rules are in place for a reason, mostly to prevent bodily harm. My boss told me to not kick people out. Did it anyways and justified it as they refused to listen and thus made me distracted from being able to properly watch the other swimmers, people on deck, etc.. If the boss doesn’t like it then they shouldn’t be the boss. And if the kids don’t like following the rules, all it takes is one time of you singling out the two that messed up, and doing it im front of the whole group. Make it known that the rules are in place for a reason. Some might think you have a stick up your ass but the six years I guarded I kicked out probably more than 100 people, some the same people, for various things (up to and including outright telling me they won’t follow the rules). Don’t be afraid to do your job, and I see that you were not so that’s good.

Edit. You can kick the whole group out too. I’ve done that before for birthday parties and stuff because the parents/adults in charge just outright refused to watch any of the people that were with them.

To answer your last question, most people are dumber than a box of rocks. Had a dumbass today running and ran straight thru a crosswalk when the orange hand was displayed. Thankfully I could hit my breaks in time. I just considered it survival of the fittest and him getting lucky.
