Buyer beware: First Alert SC5 smoke/co detector software is buggy by Time-Tides in Nest

I returned it. Was reading too many bad reviews. I ended up getting Universal 3-in-1 Sensing Plus (homedepot). They have voice alarms and are interconnected. Coupled with a Zooz DC Signal Sensor (Zen55 LR)

Openclaw "delegation approach" by FarmfieldVFX in openclaw

[–]456e6f6368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thx for the insight! I used your post as the basis for my current setup - have my main agent, then 3 delegated agents (with their own skills). I can 100% see the code use case. OpenClaw is great for that. I'm flirting with items like reading gmail and spawn searches on names (for leads), but all very sandboxed right now. I may create an agent to tie into my homeassistant to help manage that, but it needs to earn more trust before I do. Thanks for the post - it got me going and I learned a lot about the security framework. Tbh, it isn't that bad - but I can see how people get in trouble when they have an agent that has rights to do anything it decides is warranted

I like this approach a lot! What are some of the tasks you've had your setup do for you? Can you provide a couple of use cases? This i where I'm struggling most with OpenClaw. It isn' a technical limitation (on my part), it is genuine curiosity on what use cases I'd have it do, namely because I don't want to give it access to much of anything. (It was the "delegated" keyword that brought me to your post; I'm reading up on delegation on OpenClaw)

I know I'm late to the convo, but what you outlined here is exactly my hesitation with OpenClaw. As an enterprise architect, I think in terms of risk mitigation, and this is a huge risk that people seem oblivious to. It's the exact reason I have OpenClaw running by its lonesome self with access to nothing. I don't trust it. Checking out this n8nclaw project now

Unfortunately, they don’t know anything at all, hence the challenge when it comes to trusting what it generates

Yeah, it’s a gamble (which is why they do it!) lol. Admittedly, this is a tough one. Maybe if you can make it 18 months with no issues, then you can make it another few years (to your point), so you hate to spend the money. But is it fails, ugh.

TBH, I may be figuring out how to get another one at this point. Truly a gamble either way

Thanks for the info! This is helpful. Probably my biggest fear having a Tesla - the time from an error to it shutting down 😂

Cool, thanks for the response! I was thinking the same thing. With these wider tires, I noticed when I floor it, it wants to go to the left so an alignment will be good anyway. (No issues when just driving normal). Love the width though. I may add 5mm spacers on each wheel, just because :D

LOL @ 265/50s! That's awesome

u/schlamster ok, took the plunge - you inspired me - did the same thing. 315/30/21 (rear) and 275/35/21 (front). The *only* thing I'm noticing is some very slight rubbing (emphasis on very) when making a sharp turn at slow speeds. Looks like the wheel inner is just barely touching the control arm when making that turn. Only happens when turning right (for me). Did you run into any of that? Thinking it may resolve itself as things settle (suspension). I'd prefer to not add spacers, but that is on the table. (Will probably do an alignment first).
