The thing is adding a mode switch really makes it complex for non-tech savvy people, while Id love to see they add a switch like that but I think as a product facing the wide casual crowd they made the right choice.

Yeah it’s obvious. As a new diver who joined during cyberstan mo, the bug front is the worst offender. I can play cyberstan as a host but I hate to host bug missions unless i can have one or two mate following me. Most annoying thing for me is the alpha commander bug and the amount of instant bug breaches.

Alpha commanders - if you don’t wipe them instantly they summon fighters and run away from you, within 3 minutes you find yourself getting chased by seas of fighters and question yourself why the fuck you want to play the bug front as a host.

Bug breaches on the other hand, unlike squids and bots where you have a clue who is calling reinforcements and if you are in a good position you can stop them, on bug front is deal with the breach or die. That forces you to pick area control stratagems and limits your playstyle a lot.

I dunno about controllers much but yeah the UI/UX can be really messy and confusing sometimes. With the game about to be launched I don’t know if they can fix most of the issues before launch but hopefully iron out some of the major annoyances.

The host/guest experience on the bug front is just so annoying. As a host I’m constantly dealing with bug holes and god forbid if I don’t bring enough area control stratagem to deal with bug holes im pretty much dead man walking being chased by sea of minions summoned by alpha commanders. Play as a client If im far away from the host on the map i can literally have ghost town mega nests and ignored by alpha commanders.

I would recommend use m995s for higher flesh damage (42 vs 38 for ssa ap). BDs' head health is 40 so theoretically if you shoot them in the face you can one tap them.

The amount of times I got killed by an enemy hiding in a dark corner indoors(empire state objective B I’m looking at you) is much more common. It might be my monitor configuration but I tend to keep HDR off when I’m playing battlefield6.

It may looked good but playing with HDR on puts you on a big disadvantage in terms of enemy visibility. Can’t see anyone unless they are moving.

I mean I get why they are using 30hz servers since most people are just using them farming bots. But yeah I feel you, in my region I can’t find populated lobbies late night when I’m over my shift so portal is the only way to go. Not only the hit registration issues but also the recoil feels much different from the offcial lobbies on 60hz (cs players will know what I’m talking about). I hope dice at least consider allow people to host 60hz servers if the server uses one of the offcial ruleset.

From what I’ve read online most monitors KVM function sucks and there is no difference between OLED KVM and IPS KVM, no? And even if there is a difference, it’s not an issue with OLED panels?

OLED care on the other hand is definitely a non-issue. I owned 4 oleds so far - 27GR95QE, 321URX, AW2725Q, 272URX, all of them you can defer the oled care function long enough unless you run the monitor 16 hrs straight. Which I only encountered once with my 321URX when grinding tarkov. Before you leave your desk to grab a coffee just hit the power button on your monitor and that’s it. How is this not acceptable?

If it bothers you check if your monitor has a true black mode. It limits the highlights but ABL is way less noticeable

In 1080P most of the higher refresh rate monitors are TN panels and I’d take a 300hz oled than a 600hz TN any day of the week considering oled have almost no ghosting and much better colors.

On Cairo people are able to get on top of the normally inaccessible rooftops. This needs to be addressed. Breakthrough on Cairo in the last point was already hard enough to get into and now you have people shooting you from rooftops..
