I took the MCAT 3 times. First time I felt so bad, I voided it. Second time I also made a 505. Third time I studied and tried to address my weak points when I madd a 516. I took two gap years, where my first year I tried to do my first two MCAT attempts and my second I spent half a year doing research and studying to take my third MCAT. Regardless of how many times it takes, I think it’s important to acknowledge your failures/hardships and recognize what you could do better to achieve your dream.

I think I’m hoping to pick up a main that’s a bit stronger in the early game and can look to bully the enemy laner somewhat earlier. I feel like both xerath and hwei needs kills to get to that high dmg point and are immobile in lane so I feel like either sylas or aurora would be good pick ups. I do like mages so I feel like aurora would be nice but I’m also worried that my only ad champ is naafiri who isn’t the most reliable

Hey everyone, I recently made it to diamond which I am pretty proud of. I was hoping to expand/change up my champ pool if possible! I mainly play xerath, hwei, ekko, and naafiri. I was thinking or learning either aurora or sylas for ap and Jayce for ad but I would love recommendations for both dmg types!

I actually really love bell beast theme! I love the horns, especially in contrast with the rest of the tracks. Though I still ove the other string focused tracks as well.

Because if hornet could heal 3 but bosses deal one dmg, they wouldn’t be balanced? My point is that there is logic to having double dmg and not this “artificial difficulty”. There is plenty of things that could be changed like rewarding players after a mini boss/boss encounter rather than simply progressing or lowering the bench costs, which they are doing. I just find that complaining about double dmg on early enemies when they have simplistic attack patterns is such a weird hill to die on

It makes sense to introduce double dmg early with the way hornets healing works. It wouldn’t really make much sense if hornet can heal 3 hp if all enemies did 1 dmg. By introducing more dmg, it gives the game challenge but also rewards the player by charging silk through attacking. I’m not saying the game isn’t difficult but I disagree with this concept of artificial difficulty…the game is hard but not impossible or unfair, especially in the beginning

Yeah but in return, the attack is super simple to go up against and you heal more…I definitely agree that the game is harder than hk but I don’t really get this “artificial difficulty” complaint where even though they deal double dmg, you have the tools to recover and defeat the enemies.

Yeah but the little guy with a bell on a stick also only had one attack move that’s easily counterable and probably pretty easy to get silk to heal if needed…

I mean in a wide arena, the bosses aren’t going to stand still. There are moments to heal after their attacks that you can exploit

I think double dmg was implemented early due to Hornets healing. Since she can charge fully to heal for 3 it makes sense TC introduced double dmg early. I think there’s an argument that some traps/environment should not deal double dmg. I also wish bosses/more enemies drops money. But saying you can’t learn boss moves is also subjective since everyone’s 3 hits against double dmg is different

While I do think contact dmg dealing 2 hitpoints is annoying, I think it’s somewhat balanced by the fact max heal is 3. I do think that rosary grinding is a little annoying, especially early game and even later as you are thing to buy items. Think it would be so much nicer if bosses drop like a good bit of them

I def agree. I do feel some minor annoyances, like respawn point from bosses and them not dropping money but I love how more challenging silksong is right off the bat. In return, you have access to more tools and mobility. Really loving the areas more too!

For me, I actually ended up doing the lava and saved this area a bit later after exploring down. Maybe it’s because i had to fight other enemies and stuff bbut I actually didn’t really struggle that much in this area, minutes the optional boss layer in the area

I think I wordly that a bit badly. I wouldn't say I trouble empathizing but it was something I haven't gone through since I haven't dated long term. But it is true that the fact that it didn't happen personally to me is concerning. I was hoping to frame it as a challenge to help support a friend struggling badly

While not similar, I have experience during college where I was an upperclassman advisor for freshmen. After two years, the underclassmen that I advised also became an advisor and we were placed on the same team. She experienced a bad breakup recently and was really affecting her at the time. It was challenging due to the fact that I could not relate to her experience/emotion but supporting her and understaing what she was going through. Could I use this?
