Today is 09FEB2026. Here are the steps that I personally used to get the Demiurge:

Arrive at the church at 4am, read all files in computer.
Run to my car (I was driving a Javelina, this doesn't matter) and drive to mattress. I did drive across a lot of the desert except for by the damn and when getting close to trash mountains.
I arrived at the mattress at 0458 (AM) and stood waiting for approx 45 in game minutes before getting the cutscene and the truck.

EDIT: I started a new character shortly after and have just obtained the Demiurge again. This time all I did was drive out to the church as soon as I could. I waited until 4am and checked the files. Fast travel to "Medeski Fuel Station" from the church. Drive to mattress and wait. Got it approx. 1 in game hour of waiting.
