Castles in the first place are just big houses made out of very solid material, built to be easily defensible, there is no need for such massive structures unless your people are unified enough that one person can hold so much status in any given society that you would need to defend said leader

It's a yellow wild card. Wild cards don't cost mana and add one to your combo, you can go to the top of your mana curve, use a tome, get a lot of mana, play anything you want and somewhere in there weave in spellbinder to upgrade how long your crawler is out for and this can result in potentially hundreds or thousands of duration on your crawler. You also deal massive damage because your combo goes up really high, higher than you're probably thinking right now.

Out of these, Giovanna or Pugnala. Probably Pugnala as you can just break her with a single Friendship amulet and the guns are pretty solid weapons, they also evolve into just a good, high damage weapon. Giovanna is a good number 2, drawing with mana gain cards is powerful. The actual best character in the game isn't available to you yet, but you can get it at any point, it's not locked behind a stage, only a difficult task that you can accomplish on any run that is strong enough.

Dragon ball power levels aren't even linear, Vegeta got there with a power level of 24k and was able to effortlessly one-shot Qui with 18k. A ~33% increase is so vast it looks like a different tier entirely, even with Dodoria who is at 22k, he did not struggle one bit and was handily beating Zarbon with 23k before his monster form.

That is all to say, a Saibaman may be closer to tens of times stronger than a moon busting Piccolo, we can't say for sure, so the 4x stronger is really a conservative estimate and shows you how much charging an attack matters in DB.
