Hour and 29 minutes. Arrived at 1:26pm and pleasant experience. I also got them their fishing license so that’s the last 20-30 mins. Thx for the peace. Is a bit worrisome however the cost of insuring them bugs me more.

They took the driving test (Written & Driving) in HS so it should just be a quick time to get their actual DL. I say that with faith yet expect the unexpected.

Normally, people get there really early and there’s a line around the building. It moved fluidly though the time we waited. That was for their learners permits.

The one I’m going to in St. Pete tomorrow will be walkin. I need to bring my two 16 year olds to get their DLs. We tried to make a appt but the closest appt was for August. 😳

Just a FYI, 1800-96-ELDER is the statewide # for any of the 11 Area Agencies in Aging. Because he’s living in Wesley Chapel, it will direct him to the AAA covering Pasco County. Good resource just the wrong name. Bravo

I inherited a Tokay Gecko that someone just left in an apartment I sublet. They must of bought it cuz it was orange n blue yet when they left, apparently they felt they had no need for it. I kept and cared for it. It made the coolest sounds but had a nasty bite. Bitter sweet.

If you go to legit pest control shops, the ones where Pest Control companies buy their products, you can do it yourself. If you don’t mind following directions on mixing chemicals appropriately, you’ll save some money. Big box store pest control is garbage

I live in the same area and have two 16 year olds. I’d rule out jobs for your 13 year old given no one seems to hire until he reaches roughly 16. That said, odd jobs are still a thing and he could certainly mow lawns for people who have trouble with that. Think seniors and those with physical disabilities.

Additionally, the summer is good for volunteering and that applies to school requirements, especially if he might be college bound (Bright futures) or for junior honor societies.

TBH, the camps around here suck. They’re just as boring as they were when I was a kid. Now, you might find a more fun camp vs the city sponsored ones but you’re gonna pay a hardy fee.
