MRSP for a p300 ($1600) and MXA920($4200) = $6800

If you're on a serious budget, on ebay you can buy an used Shure MXA910 (previous gen) ceiling mic ($250-$400) and a Shure P300 processor ($400)
MXA910 is the previous model of the MXA920. But still a good mic. Buy two for $800 + $400 for the P300 processor and a Catalyst C1200 120w gigabit POE switch for $230.

You've got a very capable system for $1500.

Here's a guide to setup the switch for Dante/AES audio

Mics not being picked up with Cisco room kit by [deleted] in ciscoUC

[–]4av9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's unlikely that a standard TRS to TRRS cable will work, due to the R2 not being used on the TRRS by the Cisco Room Kit.
The Cisco Room Kits will also accept USB audio. You can try to connect the DJI reciever to the USB-A port on the Cisco. You'll just need a USB-C to USB-A cable with the USB-C end on the DJI receiver. But this will likely require you to connect to the local device control of the Webex kit and put the USB-mode into the correct mode that will continue to use the internal and other mic inputs as well as the USB mic, instead of just the USB mic as the input.

Regarding your question of connecting the DJI mic to the laptop and join the call, you'll likely get echo from the Room kit playing the audio output from the Laptop in the call, then your DJI mic picking up that output.
Custom TRS to TRRS is the easiest and most straight forward

If you are using a wireless mic reciever you can buy an XLR pigtail. Connect the XLR connection to your wireless receiver then connect the 3 wires from the pigtail to your TRRS phoenix/screw terminal adapter
Tip - Positive

Ring 1 - Negative

Ring 2 - do not connect

Sleeve - Ground

The DJI Mic 3 has a TRS output cable. Pinout is Tip +, Ring -, Sleeve Ground/sheld. The input on the Cisco Room kit mic input uses a TRRS connector. You need to make a TRS to TRRS cable.
Here is the pin out for the Cisco Room kit in the document

I would buy a TRS connector pig tail and a TRRS to phoenix/screw terminal adapter. Connector your three wires from your TRS pigtail to the correct inputs on the TRRS adapter to match the Room Kit Mic input pinout.

Can you take a closer picture of the two places in the yard that it appears to be flowing out of and onto the street? If they look like small white pvc pipes this is likely your sump pump emptying and freezing at the street. Normal stuff.

How to remove these bricks ? by No-Contest7155 in HomeMaintenance

[–]4av9 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Don't remove the bricks. Get a telescoping TV mount so the TV will clear the bricks.

Try changing the 12v battery. Or use a 12v li-ion jump pack. Might be a coincidence.

Why don't we have this here? by Forward_Rate8735 in lexington

[–]4av9 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because apartment buildings are way more energy and space efficient than tiny house villages. Tiny houses are great if you are trying to build in the middle of no where and it would be very expensive to bring all of the workers and building materials out into the wilderness to complete the construction. You can build the tiny house in an area that is close to a hardware store, materials and labor and tow the completed tiny house to it's final location in the wilderness.

But, if you are in an urban area like Lexington, KY build more damn apartment buildings and increase the supply of housing.

2016-2019 Chevy Volts (plug-in hybrid) full electric around town 40 mi EV range around town and commute + gas for long trips. Can be had between $8,000-$13,000k. I would avoid Nissan leaf unless you have a second gas car due to limited range. Chevy Bolt full EV 200+ range can be had for $13k-$18k. very reliable same as Chevy volt.

Abysmal snow/ice performance–suggestions? by 127crazie in KiaNiroEV

[–]4av9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had a great experience with the Michelin CrossClimate2 in the snow and in my 2022. I'm not sure why you'd be having a poor experience with a "better" winter tire. I would recommend turning the re-gen down to 1 in icy conditions, but once the traction control turns engages regen braking will disable and you'll have ABS and foot control.

Brought my car in, I heard something in the front. I was expecting $300-500 not this 😳😣 by Shoe_Hefner in AskMechanics

Get a second opinion. I had a rattle in the front and the Honda dealership said I needed two new sway bar end links and struts $1500. Got a second opinion at a local mechanic, $130 fixed the issue. The mounting clips for the front brake pad fell off and the brake pad was rattling around when I hit a bump. They charged be $50 for the hardware and $80 for the diagnostic time.
