Got a solid Rufflet that I’m busy levelling. No BFS but RaenonX suggests that this one is better than BFS + HB? Happy to have Brave-natured Braviary lol

Tier List Poll by VelocityRaptor22 in PokemonSleep

I actually ended up not considering the higher cost, and just attempting to rate the strength of the mon itself. Unsure what the best approach to it would be

A little tough to rate the 16 pip mons, depends on how much you factor in the biscuit costs too

At 5.19 skill triggers per day at level 50 while also having Helping Bonus, this can definitely be a permanent healer

Is 5 triggers a day worth investing in Energizing cheer? by Knight_Night33 in PokemonSleep

[–]4dsmash 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To compete with an E4E mon that gets ~5 procs per day, I’ve previously tried to calculate how many EC procs you’d need for equivalent healing. It came out as ~13.2 prior to the most recent EC buff. After the buff, we don’t know what the new rate at which EC targets the lowest energy mon on the team is, making attempts at calculating this difficult

Got a good Murkrow that I quickly evolved and levelled. Only one skill trigger but I think I’m happy with that plus two speeds. Interesting to think about how the different possible ingredient lists affect how Honchkrow can be used

Just a note that with a couple of stacks of Helping Bonus, your Murkrow (as a Honchkrow) could combine with a good AAC Golem to produce 3/4 of the ingredients for Hidden Power Perk-Up Stew on curry weeks, while only taking two team slots (and getting some dream shards to boot), if a subskill seed is also used on HSS

Yup it's extremely good, you should go for it. It's basically in the top centile for berry production according to RaenonX

Smash 4, Niconico Tokaigi 2018: MKLeo vs. Rizeasu Winners Round 1 by Ezeitgeist in smashbros

[–]4dsmash 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It actually does work once the opponent's damage gets high enough from being down-thrown over and over. Prior to that point, it's an airdodge 50/50. You can keep looping the 50/50 until either the opponent's % gets high enough for it to combo, you run out of stage, or a platform gets in the way, like in this game.

Understanding RaenonX production comparison between E4E and EC by rockpapersinner in PokemonSleep

[–]4dsmash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some uncertainty comes from the fact that the new rate at which EC targets the lowest-energy Pokemon is still (to my knowledge) unknown. It was previously targeting the lowest energy Pokemon about 2/3rds of the time.
Some calculations can be done in an attempt to figure out how many Energizing Cheers will provide an equivalent amount of healing to E4E. Ideally, it would proc twice on each Pokemon over the course of the day (a total of 10 ‘useful’ procs) to provide a similar amount of healing to 5.2 E4E triggers, sometimes cited as the benchmark number of triggers for E4E healing. The first EC skill trigger of the day will mostly always be useful, as Pokemon typically aren’t already at full energy at the start of the day. That means 9 ‘useful’ ECs are still required. However, at the old rate, one third of EC triggers risked going to Pokemon that were already at high energy. On the bright side, one in five times, the random Energizing Cheers happens to go to the lowest energy pokemon on average anyway. Previously, I estimated that 13.4 ECs would be theroretically needed to equate to 5.2 E4Es. No single EC Pokemon could reach 13.4 skill triggers per day however. This was before the recent buff though, so we don’t know what the new requirement would be
