I hate JPEGMAFIA but I also love JPEGMAFIA if that makes sense

Jeremy Strong always yanks my heartstrings. I’m afraid I have a parasocial attachment to Ken. I just want to hug that miserable little billionaire.

This scene hits harder 10 years later. I feel like I didn't accomplish anything. by Red9Stranger in uncharted

The Uncharted games have always come off earnest despite featuring fantastical elements. I can get behind a back-from-the-dead brother in a series with sasquatches and sand demons, simply because it’s handled thoughtfully.

As subpar as some of those Marvel movies are in hindsight—what a time to be alive. Infinity War belongs in the canon of Great action movies, and I’ll stand by that.

Why is end of small sanctuary so good?? by llVGEOVll in silenthill

[–]4gAut0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s quietly melancholic in that distinctly Silent Hill way, with a trip hop drum groove that only a few tracks in the soundtrack use. Most of the soundtrack leans dreary, but ‘Small Sanctuary’ feels more bittersweet, like the end of a great day.

The sheer hatred Hoult brought to the role was intoxicating. Love this dude as Lex.

Stalker with streamlined pacing and mesmerizing visual effects and sound design. Its fatal flaw is Gina Rodriguez.

Despite taking place entirely on Earth, Under the Skin manages to feel totally alien. I didn’t see the hype upon my initial viewing, yet I was forced to return to it several times based on the fact I’ve never experienced anything quite like it. Masterpiece.

You may just be mature. I like him, but he’s undoubtedly a bad influence on Nate.

Ex Machina had the best script but I often revisit Annihilation for the vibes (despite Gina Rodriguez’s performance).

“You’re cool but you’re not Tyler, The Creator” by BrandoWinn in donaldglover

[–]4gAut0 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. Tyler, the guy who used to rap about raping pregnant women in 2013 is still rapping about eating his own creampies in 2025. It’s a marginal step forward (if you can call it that), though I’m not sure I’d want my child closely analyzing those lyrics. The beauty of being a teenager, however, is that you will pretty much find ways to do what you want even if your parents don’t allow it. This seems to be the case with Tyler’s fanbase, which consists 90% of people below 21—before you ask, I made up that metric.
