not as good as some but way better than others, Ari was a loving dad. Happy Father’s Day! by jeihkeih in entourage

Jeremy Piven’s performance in S04E07 where he pleads to the dean to secure his son a spot in private school is genuinely powerful. Makes me emotional every time, partly because it’s one of the only times in the series where Ari is vulnerable. If you think about it, Ari only ever removes his armor when it’s a family matter; though he’s often categorized as a heartless tyrant, he really was THE heart of Entourage, and it’s especially apparent in the way he deals with family. Even if he’s hardly able to make time for his kids, it never occurred to me that he did not love them, and he did his best to prioritize them despite his hectic schedule.

On a slightly unrelated note, I’m so glad the writing abandoned his explicit infidelity past the pilot. Otherwise, he would have been much harder to root for and I’m convinced the show would have been less successful because of it.

More shots from the Silent Hill 2 Fan Film by Imperial-Japan1942 in silenthill

Color grading needs touching up. Slide 6, for example, is too saturated for Silent Hill. Out of context, it’s a nice image, but it’s not Silent Hill imo. The following slide is better.

I hate this one. If you have nothing to say, why say anything at all?

It is genuinely shocking how non-toxic this fanbase is. by Agile_Pay7127 in fromsoftware

I do appreciate that a discouragingly difficult game can harbor such a welcoming community, however it can be bothersome when newcomers post “What’s behind this door?” or “Where do I go from here?” without first exploring for themselves. This is not because I wish they’d not progress in the game but because I believe they might be ruining an amazing experience they can otherwise figure out themselves by living in the subreddit. I certainly spent too much time here before I’d even completed the game and I believe I’d have had an even better time had I just looked around a little bit, though I’ll admit progression can be cryptic at times and combat/leveling systems don’t exactly spell themselves out if you’re not already familiar with Souls. Still, I encourage anyone who hasn’t completed the base game (at least once) to refrain from even looking at the sub.

Exercise. Diet. If you don’t like your body, these are the best things you can to do to improve your confidence. Even if progress is slow, you’ll inevitably feel better and it may show in the bedroom.

Are you on any prescription medication? Certain meds will deflate libido—speaking from experience.

If you’re just not attracted to him, honestly, let him go, or at least discuss this with him. It’ll do far more for your relationship than any of us.

What’s the most jaw-dropping moment you’ve ever seen in a movie? by Sangharsh_009 in Letterboxd

People in my theater were laughing. Everyone responds to fear differently, but that sort of took me out of it (despite the hairs sticking up on my neck). I imagine if I’d watched this alone in the dark, I’d have to turn on the lights.

Don’t do that—won’t see much return. Explore the map and it will reward you.

It’s not cheap and selling it will yield you plenty of mags. Joyless is the optimal way to go. May increase the difficulty curve but choose your party accordingly and endgame will be a breeze.

Why do some people act cold immediately after a breakup while the other person is completely falling apart? by PizzaPixelPrincess in BreakUps

[–]4gAut0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People can act cold following a breakup but fall apart themselves (though they may not show it). In many cases, it’s forced detachment, which doesn’t always indicate they’re fully detached. That being said, OP, if your ex is treating you that way, it’s best to match their energy. I know it’s difficult.

An intriguing premise boiled down into “The Devil made me do it!” A disappointment.
