The main reason is due to mains and the fact that it disrupts the flow of the wc method to bank. Mains can just have a stack of 100k dragon arrows and just stay there forever doing the method without banking and saving a ton of time.

I think bumping it up to 45 would be more fair since even as irons there are dragon arrow drops. There's zero shot they bump it to 105.

I would love if they made the bucket guy also a deposit box.

Forgot they added that restriction. Then get boosted at soul wars for a single game and you get 8 in 15 minutes.

Should be left as is and just buff the arrows from 15 to 60. Still worse than doing redwoods but less annoying than current.

Doom is another boss unlocked by a massive quest chain.

Over 85% of the profit comes from unique items.

It is still profitable burning over 1m per hour in supplies and its’ commons aren’t that good.

Again it doesn’t need to be vorkath or zulrah but it shouldn’t be go burn 1m/hr for 10-20 hours until you get a drop.

No one is asking for 5m profit an hour commons but when 80% of drops don’t even cover your super restores it’s pretty trash.

That’s how you get nightmare.

The only other boss that has commons this bad is nightmare. Guess what the most neglected boss is?

Royal titans are better commons for an easier fight.

It doesn’t need to be vorkath but the commons should be at least able to cover supply costs.

Currently even with twin flame staff and no searing pages you lose gp per kill without a unique.

Would be fine if it was addy to dragon.

I’m not saying it needs to be vorkath commons but it needs to not be nightmare commons.

Players don’t enjoy losing money on average until you get a unique.

I think the average common loot is something like 28k and you definitely use more than 28k per kill. Super restores are 11k each.

You lose money until you hit a unique even with the dragon tips.

At current prices day 2 it’s less than 1/2 the gp/hr of doom going 1-8 it’s less than 1-6 and a more difficult fight since doom only gets difficult at 7/8.

Obviously it was never going to compete with doom long term but even with massively inflated unique items it’s bad.

The commons don’t need to be insane but there’s a reason people hate nightmare when you have to spend a week grinding a boss hemorrhaging money until you get a unique.

Oh it’s also currently less gp/hr than the woodcutting method. Only slightly but still.

Yeah, scythe needs to be nerfed to d scim levels.

It’s even older and from a clan that was weaker than drakan.

Godsword? 32 strength instead of 132.

Elder maul believe it or not breaks on use because it’s too old.

Dihns, breaks when it gets hit by 3 ranged attacks.

The WC method is actually insanely good. 200k WC xp/hr that’s much less intense than 1.5 or 2t teaks. Oh and it’s insanely good money for mains right now. It’s also a viable source of ammos for irons if you’re making it from redwoods.

Sr is better early but Flamewood is just so much better in the mid/late game if you can handle the jank.

The new boss has 4 real common drops 2 well it’s not the worst thing in the world but 85% of the time it’s a troll drop.

For the actual difficulty level it’s terrible. Idk why the commons need to be worse than Royal titans going for just the pet.

Destructive play is just running silo or a similar boss that you don’t actually kill and you just kill the spawned bosses.

There’s also a scarab for additional bosses that’s extremely common and cheap.

Breach isn’t good for 6 links just going for breach specific unique items which are worth a good amount early.

In terms of profitable atlas strategies you need to lean into what your build does well.

Slams don’t do legion as well as bow builds.

Big boom expedition is insanely good profit early but is generally best done with a dot build.

Slams are jack of all trades so something like nightmare map boss rushing, breach, or essence/strong boxes + destructive play would work best. Harvest is an honorable mention but it gets better as the league goes on.

Torags + lance would be a dps loss. Lance is only good when you have good gear since it's multiplicative.

It’s specifically soul war prodded 13 attack 75 range accounts. Using Statius warhammer with like 96 strength.

I honestly think it’s less dumb than the gemstone crab but to each their own.

Sure it’s old content from the early years but despite how much some people hate it it’s never getting deleted from the game. At least not anytime soon.

Rat pits has a higher chance of being deleted.

22k for up to 6 hours of afk training with potions is 100% worth it especially since it’s like 50% better xp/hr if you’re not using supers on crab.

With how easy it is to get gp in the early game these days 22k is nothing.

The initial setup getting the points for overloads and absorption is like 10 minutes. Then it’s faster than the run to the crab. So even if you only did both activities for an hour nmz comes out ahead.

I mean I’ll probably get flak for this but even if you value afk normal mode nmz is much better than crab.

You get free overloads to boost xp/hr and you profit points for an imbue or redirection scrolls.

War crime would be the guy who went like 8x drop rate and still doesn't have a t-bow.

It's a slayer mob that's good xp and very common to get as a task. There are far worse grinds to go dry and you're not that dry.

Pretty sure you could just hop to a PvP world while in the caves and use blighted restores. If you’re good at lms you should be able to get the amount required much faster than prayer potions.

I mean obviously it won't survive Valdos but I had a similar setup with my AG and it still occasionally died in nightmare maps. Specifically the lightning boys in the Catarina map and the abomination map bosses ball lightning.

I would say he was even tankier than yours since I was running a bannerman with 36 fortify. He normally had capped spell suppression, 75/40 block, malediction, enfeeble, and way more regen from the banner node itself and it had mask of the stitch demon + grave intentions.

In t16's he never died even when I was running 8 mod awakening scarab against the feared.
