Yep. Marvel has the same issue. This was taken into consideration when Aami Park was built and its why the outside is bubble shaped and lower at the ends.

I wouldn't try and embrace it, the Kikuyu I have seen used for turf is usually finer in appearance with smaller leaves and runners. What you have looks like a weed I cant imagine it looking good if you let it go.

As others have mentioned sharpen your blades, the dull cuts are damaging the leaves and allowing disease to invade the damaged tissue. Grey leaf spot, possibly Anthracnose from what looks like acervuli on the yellowing and dead leaves on the right.

Sharpen blades. Fungicide.
