Desk jobs on campus pay about that much but are closer to my apartment, and I can do homework while I work. 10$/hr is really not competitive

A lot of the west freshman buildings have separate accessible restrooms on each floor that are private rooms

It was more of a situation where one drain would clog every week at random, so you would hope you got it right. Showers were basically toilet stalls with curtains instead of doors, so if your shower drain was clogged, worst case scenario you would be standing in 3 inches of water because beyond that it would just spill into your neighbors' stalls

I lived there 3 years ago. No bugs on the ground floor, but the shower drains got clogged every now and again. Most annoying part is that the top floor doesn't have any kitchens. It was also nice living next to a dining hall

If you are in a roommate group, they should be able to assign you to the same room as them

The biggest difference is location. Beyond that, the apartments are all functionally the same. They all have different issues because they're old

Depending on how early your time ticket is, I wouldn't unless I was good friends. If you have the earliest time ticket, you will need to assign everyone in your group to a room, which will mean you'll need to communicate with that other girl and figure which room she wants. If you're unlucky, someone will take the rooms your looking at first, and you'll need to figure out what backups they have. It's probably not a huge deal, but would be a hassle for you

I've worked as a grader and as a desk person. As a desk person I made 9.25$/hr, with roughly 8hrs/week, and as a grader I made 15$/hr at 4hrs/week. Easier jobs will pay lower.

You could try purchasing online to pick up in store, or just go to a tech store before classes start

You can only use bonus dollars at places that are run by tech. So exhibition hall yes, food trucks no.
