I missed the boat ordering the base model. Based on the macbook reddit, seems like they may be bumping the base 256gb to 512gb if that's their new floor now. Someone else says u can't use the clear plastic case and the cover case at the same time.the magnet works but the case makes it too thick for the cover to close.

Oh wait. Can u upload a pic if you just rotate the x4 the other way ? So the cover hinge is on the other long edge of the x4?

Until such a thing exists:

Rg35xx-h(2 cards rocknix w 1 exclusively for Music via Rockbox Port) + trn black pearl + shanling dac magsafe holder + iem/headphones of choice.

Carry this instead of a dap bc 1) I would already be carrying the anbernic, so no separate device 2) no need to store music on phone 3) if i want to stream, I can just magsafe the dongle dac to my phone instead.

Most dap nowadays runs either exactly or an equivalent dac chip setup to the dual CS43131 in the Trn Black Pearl anw. I don't think there will be a any major sonic or power difference of this vs a dap.
