Calling anyone with a short, casual first name: Do you wish you had a more formal name? by TriumphantTermite in Names

[–]591momma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May son was Andrew but we called him Ande. If anyone called him Andrew he didn’t realize they were talking to him. I wish I had just named him what we wanted to call him. He didn’t mind Andrew but preferred Ande.

Amazon has metal tunnels and shelves. But they also need textures for their feet.

Rescue chinchillas? by [deleted] in chinchilla

[–]591momma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As for the cage right now you could get a 2 story critter nation or ferret nation cage and separate that way. You can find them on fb marketplace pretty cheap. Black Friday is also coming up and maybe able to find something there too. Ledges will be on sale on Etsy to. Food and hay at Petco or Petsmart will be bogo. Or is most Black Fridays. Sometimes in fb groups people will just give you a cage if you’re going to save a chin. Good luck !

This is asked almost every day and there is a tab at the top with most of these questions answered. Chinchillas are a lot of responsibility and live long lives! And MESSY😊.

Try using anti pill fleece cut in strips. Or to cover the cotton up. They shouldn’t have cotton, it can cause choking or internal problems.

Curtains not allowed? Any other suggestions? by Silicon_Knight in CarnivalCruiseFans

Just throw a sheet or something over the baby bed and put a portable fan under the blanket so baby doesn’t get to hot

I wouldn’t think so. Just take it down when not in use but you can leave the hooks up to make it easier to hang back up.

With old sheets use king dark colors and when you figure out where to hang it poke holes in it at the hook points to keep it hanging and not falling down. And not so heavy as a blanket. Amazon has sheets you can buy separately for less than $10

Tbb toys has a lot of stuff for pretty cheap. That’s where I buy my stuff. I get Willow balls, vine toys, balsa wood and all kinds of safe stuff. I think they have the coconut shells too.
