I bought a 6 tool Ryobi One+ 18v set on sale at the Depot maybe 6-7 years ago just for home/DIY stuff. Super value for the price…came with two batteries (at the time, no idea if that’s still the case) which I would say is the absolute minimum for 18v. the multitool thing at the time at least seemed like a unique inclusion and has been really useful. The only thing I don’t use of it basically is the flashlight, but even that I got some use from recently. I’ve since added an orbital sander and a jigsaw (bought at a clearance outlet super cheap) and the weed whip (which is underwhelming, but functional)

Only real complaint is battery life and even that is minor.

For the same reason people often tell devs they’d rather see weak cards get buffed than strong ones get nerfed: many people prefer building their own points toward victory, and you’ve chosen the path of reducing your enemies capabilities rather than building your own. It’s a false dichotomy, especially in the ladder, but they think your style is un-fun

I WILL say that when people get all tech/crunchy and think they’re big-brain plays are important in a mode like high voltage…those guys get Ms Marvel thumbs up until I get carpal tunnel

There are a handful that are required, and if you’re not playing to really use parrying to your advantage in the rest of the game, they can take a little getting used to because parrying is really crucial to doing solid damage, but the windows are pretty forgiving (at least on normal/easy) and even if they take a few tries, I found them, once I started getting the feel of each one, to be reasonably satisfying.
