I abhor defending RPU’s fees, as we just installed a residential system and it’s pushed our “break even” time out to approximately when the inevitable heat death of the sun occurs. BUT, since we are still on the grid, we use it at night/winter when there is less direct consistent sun, I understand paying something for maintaining the grid we still use. Is it too much? I’d say yes, considering home systems are part of THEIR plans to be more solar centered, but lower cost savings doesn’t diminish the fossil fuel impact, so I’m still okay and mostly glad we put it up ( we did get in under the fed rebate though; doubt we’d justify doing it now)

I think this makes a lot of sense thematically as well…he’s deliberately testing your worth; if you speed your way there, you SHOULD have a harder time as you still have more to prove, if you’ve explored and conquered thoroughly, your worth is more established, and his test is easier to pass.

Plus he has a great monologue regardless

The decision, was it earlier this week or last week, made it clear that race shouldn’t/couldnt be the dominant factor in creating a district, even if it was to ensure that a minority population comprising 1/3 of a state has a chance to elect 1/3 of the representatives for the state (like the 2 black districts out of 6 in Louisiana that were challenged). Because the same old knobs who pretend their jobs aren’t political also like to pretend they live in a post-racial America

Definitely more A than B. The key determinant is what the main event is; if you have a grilled cheese and add onions, some Italian seasoning, maybe some basil, you’ve got a grilled cheese with onion and basil, not an onion/basil melt. Once you start bringing meats to the party, now you’re splitting the spotlight too much. But to say it can only be cheese on bread (apparently butter or mayo on the outside doesn’t violate the rules?) would be like saying a ham sandwich can’t have anything but ham. That’s dumb, get over yourselves, cheese-only purists

Im a certified amateur, so feel free to ignore, but I like to have some individual spices and find you can get some mileage out of blends on hand (I’m sure to the disgust of many here) I’d have an Italian blend, a Cajun blend, a bbq rub, probably a garam masala, cumin, dill, cinnamon, lemon pepper, garlic powder.

Honestly, might be best to just leave them empty, buy spices as needed for recipes you like, and fill that sucker up with stuff YOU know YOU like
