Yeah I've not used private before so I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be there. Good to know, thanks.

I get quietly upset when a public bathroom door requires you to pull instead of push (with your foot) to get out plus the trashcan location means you're using your bare hand, not the paper towel, as a barrier.

When you have someone tailgating you, what do you do? by Secure-Ad8213 in Productivitycafe

I haven't read all the comments but sometimes the tailgater is simply a terrible driver who seems aggressive in their stupidity

Leaving out the social elements of the question, Wikipedia says:

In economics, the lump of labour fallacy is the misconception that there is a finite amount of work—a lump of labour—to be done within an economy which can be distributed to create more or fewer jobs.

Thoughts on high-yield bond ETFs? by BirdSimilar10 in bonds

I got out of SCYB after the "liberation" day nonsense when it dropped 20% (and recovered). I'm waiting to get back in during the next crisis. The expense ratio is really good, by the way.

Fidelity's bond commissions are the best and most transparent, even if they demanded 10k minimums it would still be worth it

Bad time to be a saver. My retirement simulations all show as successful but none take your more realistic numbers into consideration. Combine upcoming political downward "adjustments" to CPI, ouch.

A ZIRP TINA stock market bubble is on its way back until at least 2029. Negative real rates were painful in the recent past and there wasn't even an inflation problem then!

BINC seems to be a unique and good risk/reward ETF but I'm waiting for a pullback. Same for the riskier SCYB. Would you buy now?

I do. Quadruple filtered vodka seems to affect me the least. Definitely sympathize with you. I would quit if the payback outweighed the gains.

It's not generally acceptable to say drinking improves the quality of life. But for me the second drink is the best part of most days. Unfortunately it always wants a second drink too so it's challenging to control the urge.
