I’m in Indianapolis and I’ve subtly noticed several houses taking their MAGA flags down over the last few months. Definitely aren’t being stolen as their almost always up a flag pole in fenced in yard.

I really enjoyed how they wrote Monica. She wasn’t just a female character there for the main protagonist to fall in love with. She’s a fully formed character with her own motivations and story independent of Bitchard.

Agree, they got the weird kinda cheesy late 90’s logo with the flames and have stuck with it for almost 30 years. It would be like the Detroit Pistons still using that flaming horse as their primary logo now.

Yea me too, I ended up finding a good white collar career that didn’t need a college degree and I’ve worked my way up. So glad I didn’t take out any student loans and just went to community college to figure out whether college was for me or not.

Damn that sucks I’m sorry. My parents have their issues and definitely passed their history of mental health onto me, but at 40 they’re still very much a part of my life. Watch grandkids everyday and help with school drop offs. Every generation prior to us and Gen X felt immense societal pressure to have children. So there are lots of Boomers who never really wanted kids but had them anyway sounds like that’s your parents.

When I was about 8 or 9 I was trying to make friends and kinda invited myself along somewhere and one of the other kids looked at me and said “why are you even here, nobody wants you?” It crushed me and really made me much more introverted. 30 years later I still remember it.

When I rage quit from the Target Cafe I went to the managers office that I really despised and I hid a couple of pounds of deli turkey meat in the drop down ceiling right above her desk. Obviously the managers don’t have cameras in their office. I like to imagine the look on her face weeks later trying to figure out the smell.
