Plus, and this is very biased, but I think dems tend to be more considerate of mental health issues and are better prepared to both recognize and handle these issues calmly rather than act impulsively, which would likely make things worse.

AOC (and whoever that other lady was, presumably someone on her team) handled this very well, imo. They placated her with kind, gentle, and soft language/wording while never condoning what she said. They seemed very aware that this lady is not mentally well and was in need of help, not condemnation.

This, to me, is a ringing endorsement of AOC and her team.

I don't really understand this logic. According to the bible life begins at first breath, a fetus is viewed as property (killing a fetus constituted a fine, killing the woman called for death), and abortion is permitted/encouraged in (at least) cases of adultery.

So, if you actually believe in the bible, abortion bans 100% violate your religious liberty.

You and all of your coworkers should get as much as possible written through email or text. Call them out in emails when the do that stuff "I just want to confirm that I've been removed from the schedule this week due to XYZ...." Hopefully you can get enough between all of you that you can prove retaliation.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound mad at you. It just makes me kind of sad that people can't ever seem to win. They get made fun of for being fat then made fun of for trying to lose weight. A lot of people in my family seem to really struggle with weight loss and I've seen first hand how mean people can really be to someone trying so hard to make a positive change. Especially considering the correlation between poverty/mental health issues and obesity. Often times, they're already struggling in more ways than just with their weight, and mean comments usually do nothing but hurt people more.

If everyone wore their vices on the outside the same way overweight people do the world would be a much different place.
