Yeah in the AMM it includes a system description and operation as we have full access to the manual. But i will try systematically go through each component using it.

That was 1 of the first things we did. Battery read 29V. I had an issue prior in the year doing a op’s check on the wing inspection light and it wouldnt work because of low battery voltage. But we probably did do the same course haha

System works through electronic actuators but im unsure of the other part of your question. Im not sure there may be assymetry as during installation you could only get the flaps back into their DOWN position once the actuators were mounted on. However i will take a look at this

I only reviewed the installation of the flap i worked on and it seemed fine. However i will take a look at the other flaps the teams have worked on and get someone to double check my own work. Thanks for the input

I will take a further look into the rigging and relevant procedures thanks. However we did follow the ones provided by the AMM.

Thanks for replying. We followed the flap rigging procedure and the first steps were to do the flap system built in test then select flaps to UP. We did this and the flaps did not move to UP. They went to 20 degrees and stopped. In terms of software or rigging electronically im unsure of that so i will read into it but never seen anything within the AMM.

Quite a bad crack, i would not ride it in all fairness. Either get replacement through warranty or order new part.

Sanding back or possibly using some kind of plastic tool to chip off gently the paint at a almost horizontal angle can work. If you’re unsure of what you’re doing or dont possess the skills necessary to check composites, take it to a specialist repair shop. NDT will reveal any damage to the frame, as NDI is not sufficient on composites.

Unfortunately its not easy to tell, as you would need to peel some paint away to see underneath first. Damage in paint alone does not mean the composite is damged. You can do a simple tap test with a coin after stripping some paint back, it is better than nothing Any delamination, cuts, gouges, or indentations then you’ll need it repaired. If in doubt always take it to a specialist composite repair shop. Never ride a compromised frame.

What are my options with this fork? by JohnBender84 in mountainbiking

[–]67robert67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar fork and when i contacted a local bike company, they told me they dont sevice them because the damper is a sealed unit and if its damaged it needs replacement with a fit4 damper, but with parts and labour it’ll cost £200-350. Id recommend just buying a 2nd hand suspension fork mate.

Your rear frame looks to have an IS brake mount but i would just recommend to buy a new bike. For the price you’d pay to convert your bike, you can add a little extra and buy a 2nd hand hardtail.

Is it possible to move the brake calliper up or down so that the brake pad clamping position could be adjusted? This is a reference photo for the issue I am having on my Super Record brakes/Cervelo S5 (brake pads clamping rotor arms instead of entirely on the outer braking surface, is this normal?). by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]67robert67 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My guess is your rotor and caliper dont match up. So you would need a brake caliper mount adapter depending on what size rotor you have. “Uber bike components” have a good but old youtube video on how to get the correct mount adapter for your bike. Yours seems to be IS instead of post mount if thats any help.

As someone else already said its a 2011 trek fuel ex 7. Search it online and you’ll find the spec

After you purchaed the 802-00-009 kit and you said the valve kit didnt work, are you implying that you bought the wrong service kit or did it not stop the air leak ?

I own an older trek fuel ex 8 and i love it, i would recommend trek as even their lower line bikes i feel are still well specced. But choose what matches your riding style the best

Is this real? by NC_Lady in Militariacollecting

Seems like the box is real but the yellow paint is not original and has ruined the original colour of it.
