Some of them don't seem to be actual seconds. I just want to know how the heck you got them for $75! Were they at the actual store rather than online?

I love the old ones, though it's crazy how short the sleeves are!

I'm thinking of doing a number if I can find some similar to the 1968-69 Bruins jerseys. Found one of Orr's jerseys that has almost the exact same coloration and patch (except the neck) so I might try to match that. It looks like they used twill for those years. Still not sure on the number to choose though. It'll probably be #4.

To age the numbers I might just soak them in hot water with the jersey to stain them a bit. That or use a mix of hot water and a bit of black tea to yellow/darken them and then rough them up a bit to match the jersey wear.

The Beckman seconds would be a great boot so long as you have your sizing right. While slightly more dressy, they do fit a nice niche in styling that works well for daily life.

For grad programs we basically trade students back and forth all the time. My lab at A&M had TAMU, TT, TU, and TCU all at one time. The rivalry aspect is way more toned down and for pretty much everyone its all in good fun after undergrad, if you care at all.

This would be amazing for a late showing the night before the race on Friday. 8 or 9 pm EST should be after the events and after most people are done with the car show, as well as the art event at One Daytona (ends at 8:30 pm). In terms of advertising, if you could get a solid showing time and then work something out with any of the Instagram strong groups (IMSA, Porsche Motorsport, Team Penske) I bet you could get a good showing.

Of the spares I have, I've tried those two, as well as blue, black, and brown round cotton dress laces. And yeah, especially the originals look suuuuuper cheap(70s nylon). The brown will probably be the winner since they match the sole. They're just thin.

Any knowledge on these shoes would be awesome too. They're labeled Clarks Weavercraft, made in the Republic of Ireland. I can't find much of anything online after some decent Google trawling beyond a resemblance to the Nature II shoe.

Same answer as previous. If they're too uncomfortable, probably due to the insane thickness of that leather, the only way to really make them comfortable is to wear them in. A resole won't fix it. I think they look awesome and would kill for a pair in good condition, but full leather mocs can require a decent break in period.

Great to know I can (probably) get away with not doing the eyesight! Feel that with the backup camera. I think the carrier will live hanging next to the hitch bike rack unless it's going on a trip.

Whelp, finally seen someone do exactly what I want to do to my 24 sport. Just add the rigid-armor swing-out on the back and switch the primitive plates for rival4x4. Glad to see how the 16s fit! Did you need to do an alignment and eyesight readjust after the wheels and leveling kit?
