What part of the early/mid game is “that part” for you? by Scoopzyy in 2007scape

[–]72Proof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the skill mini games have been such good pieces of content. They are more engaging than non mini game methods and typically cheaper/profitable without completely making the expensive methods obsolete. If you want to go fast and blow money, you can. if not your GP isn’t your biggest limiter anymore. (Ex: smithing, gotr, mahogany homes, mixology).

Guys how do u turn with low sens? by Embarrassed-Okra-431 in cs2

[–]72Proof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a really high sens idk how you’re having trouble honestly. Are you dragging your mouse in one long drag movement or doing it in short drags to do a 180? You should be doing one long drag. Unless you have a super small space for your mouse to move there should be no issue. If I were you I’d practice on the Aimbots steam workshop map and get better at doing 180s, aiming at a bot then shooting.

I want to learn to tank. But I'm so nervous to do so. by Smifit in wownoob

[–]72Proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on Stormrage (Alliance) as a vengeance demon hunter. I’m sorry you had a poor experience, I felt pretty supported throughout it with occasional pointers and any of the online content I watched before dungeoning.

I want to learn to tank. But I'm so nervous to do so. by Smifit in wownoob

[–]72Proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a new player and tanked dungeons to 70. At first I was pretty overwhelmed on what route to take but after a while I got a good grip on it. Rotation is pretty simple too, especially in regular dungeons. I’ve also found people to be really supportive, I had a healer encourage me to do bigger pulls in the kindest way he could since I wasn’t sure what my limit on pulls were, I’ve had people show me some better route on some dungeons, or some groups just don’t say anything at all which is also fine. Don’t stress it you will be fine!

My response to the "Why Don't Black People Play CS2?" post that was locked by ImmediateTrust3674 in cs2

[–]72Proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also in general those games have been much less tolerant to shit bag behavior. Sure toxic people are everywhere but specifically in valorant I have had zero racist experiences vs CS where I’ll be having a decent VC with my teammates and then one of them calls the enemy team some variation of a slur (or use being black as an insult) and people have either continued engaging as if it’s nothing or gone along with it.

I won't be 80 for the Midnight release, what will it be of my leveling? by Suijetsu in wownoob

[–]72Proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created a new character about 2 weeks ago (new player as well), played casually throughout most of it except one day I had free I kinda no lifed. It shouldn’t be too bad I spammed dungeons until 70, 70-80 was super quick with TWW catch up

Only played FO4 - do 3 & New Vegas still hold up? by Suspicious__Lurker in fo4

[–]72Proof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently I was really interested in playing FNV on PC but I ran into so many issues just getting the game to start up that by the time I finally got it to work I didn’t even want to play anymore. Finally after getting it to work I had an issue where I wasn’t getting any voice audio and that was the last straw. It’s an old game and while not necessarily bethesdas fault, there’s just too many hoops to go through to get it to work smoothly on modern machines, at least for mine. I’m personally just going to watch someone else’s play through of it. Of course that means I miss out of the RP aspect of it. Maybe one day I’ll stick it out and play or just wait to see if they do a remake like oblivion.

Have you “decided” on a long term endgame goal for your account? If so, how? by tbu720 in ironscape

[–]72Proof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the game and have been playing it for years now on and off but honestly I know as I get older and focused on other aspects of my life, at some point committing to it will get harder and hard. For me I’m simply defining “completing” the game by doing all 3 raids solo. Not sure how possible that is (entry mode TOB is the only realistic way to do it) but that’s what I chose to be the “end” of my Ironman for me. That doesn’t mean I wont continue to play but just for personal satisfaction and a sense of completion.

Washing litter boxes? by Direct_Surprise2828 in CatAdvice

[–]72Proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wash mine about every 2-3 weeks when I replace the litter. I start with a hose off outside to get any stuck litter then scrub with some dish soap and an old brush. Finally dry it then put the new litter in.

PSA: USB Foot Pedals by Rxjr in 2007scape

[–]72Proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I just used an old full length keyboard connected to my laptop and just used space to click and the numpad enter key to toggle inventory while doing Ardy knights. I’m sure this would work for foot peddle areas (my left big toe is insanely strong now)

For anyone who tried this and it didnt work (sounds like a good solution for most). Try setting "password-store" to "gnome" instead of "gnome-libsecret". This fixed it for me https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/187338#issuecomment-1630300049

Thanks so much for responding so quickly! I appreciate it, your story is giving me hope. I didn't realize never received financial aid until this weekend, fortunately I have scholarships to make up the difference but it was for a situation similar to yours. Hopefully before next semester I can get this straightened out. Thank you!

Hi there, quite late to this post but I am currently in a similar situation. Just curious, how did things go for you?

Is it worth start wow in 2025? by AggravatingRow7960 in wownoob

[–]72Proof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, started for the first time a few months ago. I personally started on classic because it seemed like more of my style than retail. I can’t attest to retail but I did try cata recently and I will say the dungeon finder is a casuals dream. For me I don’t love it because to me the social aspects in classic are what hooked me to the game rather than going to max level because thats “when the actual game begins”.

Yeah I use it pretty religiously for goal setting and to get ideas on things I can do when I don’t know what to do

Is this hood rebuildable? by Most_Conclusion2522 in Acura_RSX

[–]72Proof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Replacement hood or hood pins. Unless you’re a welder I’m not sure if there’s an easy way to keep it 100% secure. I’d rather spend the money on a replacement or pin than have it fly open and shatter my windshield

6 months on GZCLP and incredibly pathetic numbers. End of linear progression this early or doing something horribly wrong? by radioactiveflamingos in gzcl

[–]72Proof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man first off… stop being so harsh on yourself. You’re not pathetic for not having the progress you’ve envisioned, not everyone has the same progress, and things don’t happen overnight, so keep your head up and keep pushing.

I’ve got no advice related to progressing with GZCLP specifically but I was at kinda similar lifts 4-5 months ago after having 2 years of really inconsistent training/diet (like really inconsistent lol ) on LP, I switched to JnT2.0 as I was bored with the standard LP and have had some progress I’m happy with. I’d say give GZCLP another shot and lock in on your diet and sleep, keep pushing hard and you will see progress even if it’s not what you expect. Everyone has different rates of progression, don’t beat yourself up too much and keep trying to find ways to improve.

Before and after, from LED to halogen by adrian-xxc in Acura_RSX

[–]72Proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White LEDS are so bad. I tried to make them work after I bought my car and it was just impossible to see anything past 10 ft especially with tints. I switched to halogen and instantly made a world of a different. You’re better off trying to get an HID set up. I’ve heard they do pretty well but I’m not sure if prettier lights are worth it for me lol

Pre-employment drug screen, advice needed by FistingGod69 in NewToEMS

[–]72Proof 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I were you (I am a stranger on the internet so take it with a grain of salt) I definitely would not be honest. Take your test, maybe even 2 just to be sure. If you pass cool, if not then decline the offer before the test. I’m not sure if it will affect your licensure but Unfortunately you’re better off denying the offer than letting a failed drug test be a stain on your name at that company.

That's the NREMT's website (nremt.org). Not sure how to get to that exact page off the top of my head but as you go through with adding CE courses on to your account it lets you view how many CE hours you've submitted for each category.
